"Listen, sweetheart, you have to talk it out with him. It's not like you both could stay mad at each other, Cherie."
The woman glanced over at the large orange cat who laid on the counter beside her. She frowned at the feline, placing her oven-mitt covered hands on her hips.
"Are you even listening to me?"
The furry beast peeked her head up, glancing towards the female. She let out one of those cat-like yawns and licked her fangs.
"Mmm, it seems like hard work. Could I just take a nap instead?"
"Jolly." Emma spoke up, turning towards the oven. She reached over and touched the handle, opening the door right up. "You know that communication is the key to a relationship. Chérie, c'est comme ça."
"English, please," Jolly grumbled, her ear twitching when she spoke. "I don't like when you speak French, you know I don't understand it."
"You are such a pain, sometimes." Emma mumbled as she shook her head. She went to grab what was in the oven, and she sighed.
"Jolly, do you want to know how many times Lucky and I have argued?"
"Not many. Usually you're doing the hanky-panky at the manor and whatnot."
"Not what I meant." The woman mumbled as she blushed from the cat's words.
"Truth is, he and I can argue from time to time. Not in any unhealthy manner. We make up by-"
"Having sex." The feline yawned in a cat-like manner as her tail swished from side to side.
"This is why you look like Garfield, Jolly."
"..That was the most weirdest insult ever, and I don't like it." Jolly blinked, glancing over at the female. "Ouch!"
"Every time I look at you, I want to make you a thing of lasagna because all you do is interrupt me. Now do I have to get rid of the plate of lasagna I have now or not?"
"No."
"That's what I thought." Emma muttered as she pulled the pan out of the oven, setting it on the counter beside her. She closed the oven after that, letting out a huff.
"Now, what I was saying was..Lucky and I communicate. Sure, do we get heated up to the point we have sex? Of course! But that's only if it's too heated." She spoke up as she set the oven mitt to the side, letting out a small hum.
"But we talk things out too, y'know. He sometimes gets heated and I take my time to help him talk about his feelings. Do you know which person helped him open up more?"
"You did." Jolly said.
"That's right. Do I help with his anger issues? Of course I do. I love Lucky. Even if he's a homicidal maniac animatronic that is about 7'0 tall, I still love him. Talking it out with Hangry might solve your problems, you know. Hangry might be angry and you might be angry too, but you need to tell him how you feel while also listening to his feelings."
Jolly thought about it for a moment. She blinked, letting out one of those purrs she did when she was thinking.
"And please blink when you think like that. You look high when you don't blink." Emma crossed her arms.
"Sorry." Jolly let out a laugh as she looked at her. "But you're right. Maybe I should talk it out with him. That's only if he's not scarfing down on his ribs. Sometimes I wish he chokes on them."
"Sometimes I wish Lucky would choke on his cigars too. I get how you feel, but I'd never say it out loud." Emma let out a snort before she turned her head away in embarrassment. She couldn't help but laugh though.
