Chapter 16: The Bet

Eren's POV

Everyone bought something for f/n since it is her birthday tomorrow. Everyone was invited to that part but of course I don't think I am, well I don't think any of us are since she is mad at all of us. But still they all got her something for her, including me. Don't think she will accept but still, I want her to know that I'm truly sorry for what happened 3 years ago. Now we were all getting ready to go to sleep. Of course about an hour ago we went to f/n's place to check if she came back but she wasn't there. For some reason everyone I've a feeling everyone hates me. Bertholdt and Reiner had to go home earlier for some reason, so the people right now in the living room are: Me, Mikasa, Armin, Annie, Krista, Ymir, Sasha, Connie and the horse. "Sasha you're making me worried! You didn't eat any potatoes for the past 2 days" Connie exclaimed, Sasha just stared at her feet. "Well you know Connie, this is the first time f/n was mad at Sasha" Armin started Jean noded "F/n treated Sasha, Krista and Ymir as sisters she loved all of you to bits" Jean said, it fell silent for a couple of minutes and everyone was in a deep trans. "Aparently f/n changed Sasha's world, is that true?"Jean asked Sasha, tears started to roll down her cheeks everyone looked at Jean with a 'Why did you ask that?' stare. "Indeed..she... did..." Sasha said in between sobs. "I believe she helped everyone in here, she helped me when I was bullied." Armin stated everyone noded "If it wasn't for someone, then everything would have been normal and Sasha would have kept eating potatoes" Jean said clenching "Jean we already talked about this you can't blame Eren for what happened. Now I noticed that we keep thinking about f/n so lets distract ourselves by being in a relationship." Mikasa said everyone looked confused "Where are you going to find a lover at this time?"Connie asked everyone looked at Mikasa "Here silly" She said clapping her hands "Lets see.. urm Connie and Sasha, Eren and Annie, Armin and Krista, Me and Jean"Mikasa said everyone apart from her, Jean and Ymir blushed. Everyone started to state how bad this idea was "Well sorry Mikasa but my heart belongs to f/n..." Jean said about to leave the room but something or maybe someone stopped him from going out, it was Ymir. "I think this is a good idea, I mean you boys could make the girls happy for at least a couple of weeks, so how about this I dare all of the couples that Mikasa named to be together everyone is going to pay 30 bucks and whoever stays together the longest gets all the money" Ymir said with a happy and very convincing way "The winners will share the money in half that's 120 bucks each and it's obvious that some people here want to see f/n jealous so by doing this you will be able to see who she cares about" She continued, the last part caught mine Jean's and Armin's attention for sure I think the money bit caught Connie's attention. "I am in it!"Most people exclaimed and you could hear cheers "Oh this is going to be soooo much fuuun!!" Ymir said excitedly "So we are starting off tomorrow, deal ??" Connie said and everyone in sync said Deal, after that everyone went to sleep and hoped that f/n would be back home for her birthday tomorrow.

Your POV

There was a lot of traffic on the way home. So I check all my messages one caught my attention, it was from Clarissa a very popular girl she is very pretty and can be mean. She goes to our school and I am good friends with her.

Clarissa: Hey f/n, I know that you probably have your phone turned off after what happened to you and you know the other. However there's something I have to tell and it's pretty urgent so reply as soon as you see this message babe xx

You: Clarissa bae it's been ages xx How do you know what happened? I bet the whole school is talking about this now :'( Anyways what did you want to tell me?

Clarissa: I know it's been so long. Anyways yesterday your bf came running to school to tell your group that you left and they were all glad that you did I heard them with my own ears "Yeah we know, I'm soo happy" Sasha said "Yeah same here, I waited for this soo long." Connie agreed "Who could love that cow?" Ymir said. I'm sorry to tell you this but I feel like you had to know. And why did you leave I missed you in PE :'(

You: What they said that ?!!? Oh wow!! And I only went for a trip I'll be back to school on Monday and My party is on tomorrow xx

Clarissa: Oh Thank God :) and if you want to you can hang around with me Madeline and all the other girls if you wanna xx I never liked that lot x

You: Thanks Clarissa, I accept if that isn't a bother to you or the rest of the girls xx

Clarissa: We always wanted you in our group babe xx

You: Thanks Chick xx

You felt something bother you when Clarissa told you about what Ymir and the rest said, You felt something break in you. You sent the details to everyone you invited + Jay about your party. Your parents won't be home so you can have as much fun as you want but however you felt a bit sad for some reason.
