Chapter 3

Izuku was watching in horror as he just saw his best friend get knocked out unable to help or even move, the ice pillar pinning is right arm and leg as well as a large chunk of his chest he could feel the broken ribs and the blood running down his covered body he was losing consciousness but his head was screaming for him to stay awake, to move, to do anything and everything to get free and protect his friend and Momo. looking over at the ice he powered up one for all in his free arm and started punching it with 100% causing chips and flakes to fly off but he couldn't break it, Todoroki had advanced towards Momo who was still in a state of delirium but stopped feeling the wind pressure coming off Izuku's punches, looking over at the pinned boy he couldn't help but laugh "you think you can break that ice by punching it, you are a fool midoriya that's compacted ice, i created that move specifically for you" Izuku could feel his knuckles breaking with each punch, the skin splitting and peeling away revealing the muscles and bone underneath. class 1A and the teachers present looked on in horror at their classmate, one of the strongest people in the school thrashing and smashing around like a rabid animal in a cage breaking his arm and hand beyond repair and getting nowhere.

 Momo looked over at Izuku, seeing the state he was in caused something in her head to scream almost like a howl of pain causing her to grip her head "AHHH M-MAKE I-IT..." her hands could feel something in her her hair growing under her palms, her lower back was also in agony but she couldn't finish her scream before Todoroki turned back to her covering her mouth with ice "be quiet my love i wont let this animal touch you again" his sickly sweet tone along side the pain made her want to puke but she couldn't, tears streamed down her cheeks as she writhed on the floor in pain grasping at the ground trying to crawl away though the pain "mate is stuck" she froze at those words, looking around trying to see who spoke but no one had said anything "need to help mate" the voice spoke again it was panicked but was soothing to her almost like a mother calming a crying child, she looked back towards Izuku noticing that he had stopped trying to break free the blood and lumps of flesh stuck over the ice, seeing the fear and pain in his eyes as they were slowly threatening to close permanently but there was something else in those eyes that was drawing her in, his usual emerald green eyes had become a vibrant cobalt blue almost "mate is waking up his eyes are beautiful" the voice had become louder it almost felt like it was trying to force its way out to get to Izuku.

the blood loss was getting to Izuku now his thrashing had slowed and he could feel his power over OFA decreasing and his eyelids were getting too heavy to keep open he used the last of his strength to look at Momo his eyes locking onto the girl he had loved for the last year sadness and guilt filling his body as his eyes finally closed. "what are you doing" Izuku snapped his eyes back open to be met with a black void, he looked around expecting to see the vestiges that reside within OFA but there was nothing, "i-im sorry, i failed you guys" he spoke out his voice broken and hoarse to the non existent vestiges hoping they would show up and tell him its okay "you think those ghosts can help you" the voice vibrated around him with malice causing him to back up in fear "w-who's there" he was whipping his head around trying to find the voice but couldn't see anything "you fear me, yet I've been a part of you since you were born, how are you this weak" a pair of ocean blue wolf eyes had pierced the darkness causing Izuku to almost run in fear "our mate is in danger and you rely on a power so weak that you forget about ME!" a large black paw slammed down in front of Izuku, the paw was gigantic almost large enough that it could crush him easily, "w-what are you" he quivered at the pressure the beast was giving off "well in terms that you will understand right now i am technically you, well what you would call your quirk" the voice has become softer and calmer now "i was locked away inside you because i was too dangerous" the beast had taken a step forward now showing itself to be a wolf, its fur was pure black with a singular white patch running from its left eye to the tip of its ear on the same side "s-so the e-ears and tail i have" Izuku looked down "well i had" he almost cried "what do you mean had, you're not dead" the wolf looked at the boy in front of him "i brought you here like those damn ghosts because of you" Izuku looked at the wolf in confusion "what do you mean because of me" "that necklace that you gave to the girl, it was designed to keep me trapped and for years since you put it on when you were five it has been taking my power" the wolf had begun circling around Izuku as it continued to explain "the problem is that it had a secondary function, it can take that power like OFA and pass it on. cause i'm not actually quirk, you Izuku midoriya are a werewolf and i am what you can become and what that girl is now also becoming" Izuku looked in astonishment, he had seen movies and he knew of werewolves in folklore but he had believed it to be a myth "but how, they are a myth" this caused the wolf to howl with laughter "boy how wrong you are, but enough with talking you need to shift or our mate will die" before the wolf could continue "WAIT MOMO WILL DIE, YOU HAVE TO HELP ME, SEND ME BACK, DO ANYTHING TO SAVE HER I DONT CARE IF I DIE BUT SAVE HER" he screamed at the wolf rage filling his tone "boy to shift you just have to call my name in your head when i wake you up and i will take over" the wolf spoke calmly "what is your name" Izuku's eyes filled with a new determination "i am Akira" 

Momo could feel the voice in her head crying "i cant feel mate, where is mate"  the voice almost begging for answers that Momo couldn't give, she had just watched the boy she loved bleed to death after being brutalised by Todoroki who was currently laughing so hard he had tears coming out of his eyes "oh my god the all powerful Izuku bleeding to death alone now that hilarious" Todoroki wheezed. "YOU BASTARD" mina screamed out tears rolling down her cheeks "ILL FUCKING KILL YOU" kirishima punched at the ice with his hardened fist trying to break it, most of class 2A had started crying and screaming threats at the half and half quirk user, their friend, their leader had died Infront of them and they couldn't do anything to stop it, Momo had crawled over to Izuku's body during this reaching out to grab his mangled hand hoping to feel its warmth but it was cold. she screamed in pain even though it was muffled by the ice causing the room to fall silent yet again the class looked over to her, they could hear the heartbreak within that scream and the wave of guilt washed over them stronger than before. "why must you cling to that useless idiot my love" Todoroki had turned back to her making his way towards her again "i think its time to claim what's mine" he reached for Momo as she backed up against the wall next to Izuku letting go of his hand, as Todoroki's hand came towards Momo an immense pressure and a wave of malice flooded the room shattering all the ice, everyone fell to the floor in fear "FORGIVE US" the class turned to see Tsuyu, Tokoyami, Ojiro, shoji, hound dog and Koda curled up on the floor begging for forgiveness, what surprised them more was when Tsuyu turned to face away from the scene and lift her rear in the air "w-what's going" kaminari choked out to Koda "t-there i-is an Alpha ne-nearby" his voice louder than any of the class had heard "b-but t-that doesn't explain w-what asui is doing" Jirou cried looking towards the frog quirked girl, mineta spoke up next "s-she's presenting herself t-to be d-dominated" his voice wobbled slightly "i r-read a-about how a-animal quirk u-users sometimes present t-themselves to an a-alpha to try and calm them" mineta almost cried, meanwhile across the campus several other animal quirked users could feel the same presence, in class 2B pony and Shishida had suddenly hit the ground mumbling in fear while pony was doing the same thing as Tsuyu, nezu was sat in his office several shattered tea cups littered the floor around the door as the mouse, bear, dog rocked backwards and forwards praying to survive, outside UA Miriko and hawks had crashed down on to a roof in fear. 

Todoroki looked back towards the class and their fear "hah glad to see you finally recognise me as your top dog" he smirked returning his advancement towards Momo but before his hand could make contact another hand suddenly grabbed his wrist snapping the bones, looking over the class saw something that both filled them with joy and made them fear it, Izuku was stood there covered in blood his eyes closed but his hand latched on to Todoroki's arm, Momo looked up at Izuku pleading in her head for his eyes to open "mate is back, mate is back" the voice was running laps around Momo's head causing her to fall unconscious almost instantly from the strain "don't worry mate will keep us safe" was the last thing Momo heard. the class was still stunned that what they believed to be the body of their classmate had lashed out to grab the fire and ice user until they heard it "Akira" Izuku's voice rang out through the silence, Todoroki looked at the blood covered boy seeing his eyes open but they weren't his eyes, they were primal, animalistic and Todoroki could swear he saw death in those eyes before he was thrown through the air landing in the middle of the room, the room was then filled with the sickening sound of bones snapping and reforming, cloth tearing and skin splitting, everyone looked over to the greenette's body convulsing and twisting as his body morphed, black wolf ears and the tail was what they noticed first, Koda and mineta grabbed everyone and pushed them back also trying to move the other animal quirked users which worked for most of them except Tsu who refused to even budge "a-asui please you need to move" mineta begged her "Koda, mineta w-what's going on" Hagakure asked fearing for her friends "m-midoriya i-is a w-werewolf" Koda spoke his voice returning to its usual whisper "b-but they're a m-myth right" mina spoke next still watching as more black fir broke out through Izuku's skin and his jaw and nose seemed to extend into a snout his teeth elongating into a row of razor sharp teeth has hands morphing into paws, before the class could blink there was now an 8 foot tall black wolf with a streak of white on its face stood where their classmate used to be, it scanned across the class looking at every one of them before raising its head and letting out an almost ear shattering howl before looking back down at Todoroki who had got back up, his legs shaking as the ocean blue eyes bore into him the giant beast stalking towards him slowly letting out a deep rumbling growl which shook the building and made the boy pass out on the spot.
