Twenty four: Fresh Start

Arriving at their hotel room, Aria smiled as she was with Emmett. Looking at him, she decided to tell him what's been on her mind. "Baby, I've been thinking this should be a fresh start for us." She tells him. "I'm tired of how the others are treating us, picking Bella's side when we all know that she is just using Edward to be young forever."

Emmett placed their bags to another side of the room. "Are you sure?" He asked. "I know you care for them..."

The blonde wrapped her arms around his neck as she spoke. "I think it's best that we prove to them that they need to learn to listen especially with a human who thinks she is more important than the rest when she's not. She doesn't even know what this life is like. I mean, hell, I didn't know till I killed that person and you have helped me." She tells him. "I want us to have a fresh start, but that's if you want to."

Emmett kissed her before pulling back. "A fresh start sounds good to me, baby." He says kissing her. "Now, we're going to unpack our bags and go swimming. That's the beginning for us."

Aria smiled as she wondered how the hell she managed to fall for a guy who truly loves her. Seeing him grabbing one bag to unpack, she walked over and grabbed his hand. "Let's wait on the unpacking. I want to spend the day with you." She tells him. "Especially after meeting someone so special as you that makes me feel so loved."

"Sure." He tells her.

Walking out of their room, Emmett shut the door and locked it before walking away with her. They have no family with them meaning they can focus on their plans. Plans they have made over the summer. Now, they get to do. Emmett picked Aria up causing her to scream out as he carried her to the elevator. "I love you."

"I love you."

What a way to start fresh.
