It had been a handful of days since Alice had last seen Samael. They had been exchanging texts of witty banter and inquiries about each other's days. She still couldn't shake the experience of her trip. It bit at her mind with an annoying insistence like it was meant to be at the forefront of her attention. Alice debated whether or not she should tell her friends about it; her insecurities about her mental health and her distaste of feeling as if she couldn't handle the drug dug at her. She did know that she would feel better if she could talk about it with someone though since her experience eerily lined up with a past trip they all had together some months prior. If anyone would understand, it would be Elena. She knew Elena had seen what she had during their shared trip before they met Samael. It was almost like the other night was a continuation of it, and she couldn't dispel the dread that still lingered in her stomach.

Alice and Elena were both eating cereal on the couch as the sun began to rise. They had been up all night watching movies; the whole Twilight series to be exact.

"Hey, can I talk to you about something?" Alice asked, preparing herself for the conversation at hand. She could feel her hands begin to shake, the trauma from it seemingly still in her nervous system.

"Yeah, of course," Elena responded, her attention now directed on her friend. She noticed Alice's shakiness, and her concern began to build.

"It's about the other night. The trip I had," The raven haired woman started, "You remember the last time we tripped together before that, right?"

"I don't think I'll ever be able to forget it."

It was when they had first moved into their apartment, and most of their things were still in boxes. Alice, Elena, and Anna had bought five triple dosed tabs of acid between the three of them. Alice and Anna had decided to buy an extra for future purposes. The three were lying in Elena's room, waiting for it to kick in as they watched her galaxy projector's light show swim on the ceiling like the northern lights.

Anna's trip had begun first, "Are you guys feeling it?"

Elena and Alice shook their head.

"Not yet," Alice said. They continued to wait another twenty minutes.

"Do you think we should take our extra ones?" Elena pondered.

"Maybe, it should have kicked in by now. If we still don't feel anything after another twenty minutes then I think we should."

Twenty more minutes passed and they still couldn't feel any affects, so the two collectively decided to take their second triple dosed tab. Less than fifteen minutes had passed before the drug's effects creeped up on them intensely, regret starting to creep into their minds from taking such a heavy second dose.

"Oh boy." Alice breathed, the northern lights had intensely began to take over the room.

Elena laughed, understanding exactly how she was feeling, "Maybe we shouldn't have taken a second one."

Anna shook her head, "You guys are insane."

Alice began to take in the rest of the room, sacred geometry patterns beginning to appear on the white painted walls. She felt as though she could never quite settle in her body comfortably as waves of intensity washed over her. All of her senses were overwhelmed, adding to the sensory overload she was experiencing. Anxiety began to coil itself in her stomach though there was nothing immediate for her to be uneasy about. She tried her best to just focus on her breathing.

"Should we put a show on?" Elena suggested since having something to focus your attention on is sometimes the best course of action when your mind is racing.
