◇Chapter 4 : New Friends◇

"It wouldn't be a bother to me."

Yaoyorozu and Suza returned to the control room and were watching Kaido's and Eji's fight. They were the hero team.

"GET HIM, EJI!" Suza was encouraging them like a fan girl.

"HOW DARE YOU THROW THOSE DISGUSTING BALLS AT KAIDO'S BEAUTIFUL FACE? YEAH, GET BACK AT HIM!" and defending them like one.

"Calm down, Ikeda-san. It's just training. Also, it didn't touch his face." Yaoyorozu told her.

"Yeah, but—"

"No buts."

"Fine..." she agreed reluctantly.

Suza resumed watching the match. You see, there were 11 teams, which was a problem. So, the teachers let Mineta go against them with a robot as his new punishment, one from the entrance exam. It was a one-pointer. And it wasn't a fair fight. Eji and Kaido were the hero team.

Eji went against the robot. With his quirk, he was at an advantage ; all he had to do was graze the bot, and he would win. Why? because his quirk allows to merge with anything which contained minerals. And what are most robots made of? metal. And he did just that, going head on, clashing with it. A bright red light englufed his hands and legs, giving him a buff body which was too heavy for him to handle. He stumbled and decided to lay down, feeling dizzy all of a sudden. Soon, he fell out of consciousness. The rest of the robot fell on the floor, dismantled.

Kaido was surprisingly very good at fighting. It could be thanks to Hawks' training or because he used to fight with gangs ; give or take. Mineta was protecting the bomb. He kept dodging Mineta's sticky purple balls effortelessly, determination shining through his eyes. He also shot a few fireballs to steer some away. Unknown to everyone, Todoroki was glaring at the screen with anger and rage. That power...it's just like his, Shoto hissed internally.
After a while, Mineta's head started to bleed, and Kaido tied him up.

"The hero team wins! End of the Battle!" All Might announced through the speakers.

Sweat was dripping down Kaido's face, and Eji passed out of exhaustion. Of course, medical support already took him to Recovery Girl.
Suza let anxiety take over her body for a few moments, feeling scared for Eji ; they were like siblings. Thankfully, Yaoyorozu was there to calm her down, assuring her that Eji would be fine.

In the corner, Aizawa was eyeing Suza suspiciously.
Those quirks... They don't seem as dangerous as I thought. They just need a lot of training, that's all. Why make a fuss out of it? Something's not right here. And I'll get to the bottom of it...
