Chapter 4 shot

I gasped for air. Painting as I sat up. Crystal was shaking me with tears running down her face. "Your ok" she said hugging me. "What happened?" I coughed. "Your powers took control and you passed out! You weren't breathing!" Crystals grasp getting tighter on my body.

I slowly sat up. Coughing as I looked around at the ruined woods. "You did this" Crystal said linked onto my arm. "How?" I asked ""you went crazy"" crystal thought. "I went crazy?! What does that mean?" I shouted. "How did you know?" Crystal was shocked. "Your thoughts. I can read them." I said whilst tapping my head. There were mangled and singed trees everywhere. "How did I do this?"
" I don't know. You just started floating and trees were flying everywhere. It was like your powers took over." "But I..." My sentence was interrupted by gunshots from the B.E.P.A .

Crystal released fire from her hands setting fire to the trees around us. She grabbed me and she bursted Flames into the ground causing us to fly. We were almost away when crystal was shot in the arm. I quickly teleported away.

I don't know how we ended up there but we ended up in an abandoned warehouse in a small village. We both crashed to the floor. I could hardly breathe but I had to ignore that. Crystal was on the floor in agony. I rushed to her. I had to pin her to the floor. The bullet had to be removed from her arm and I was the only one that could remove it. I told her I had to remove it and she was begging me to take it out. She screened in pain as the bullet flew out of her arms and Into my hand. I quickly flung my shirt off and tied it round her wound. I slowly moves her towards me and she sat on me shaking.

"Michael. I hope you know. I love you. In a friend way though". "I love you too" I whispered.

*the next morning*

I woke up the next morning before crystal. I used my powers to pick her up and slowly moved her off me. I knew she would be hungry and in pain when she woke up. I left the warehouse and looked around. It was a cold, damp and gloomy day. The clouds were grey and there was a slight drizzle of rain. It was a small town with not many houses and shops. I saw a pharmacy and walked towards it, trying to avoid eye contact with others. I walked inside and bought some paracetamol. I didn't have much money as my wallet was burnt to a crisp the night before last. I went into a newsagents and bought a few pieces of fruit.

When I got back into the warehouse crystal was still asleep. Even though she was shot. She looked amazing. Her hair was wavy and very neat. I started to wake her up and she looked happy to see me. "Morning sleepy" I said giving her a banana. "Michael, I want to say thank you for taking care of me. I don't know what i would have done without you." I blushed. "It's no problem, I no you would have done the same".

I gave her some paracetamol and she sat up. Surprisingly active for a girl that was shot in her arm. I stood still looking at her. "What's your issue?" I shook my head. I was in a daze. "Sorry. I just want to know why you were crying yesterday when I woke up." She looked at me. Her eyes welled up. "Michael, you stopped breathing, you..... You nearly died and I didn't know what to do. When you were floating your eyes went red and you looked like you were going to kill someone." She started crying. Putting her usable hand on her face. I used my powers to move her into my arms. I am taller than her and she likes tall people hugs so I squeezed her and she smiled. "Thanks Michael" she looked up at me and I lifted her up so she was at my level. I wiped her tears and she leaned in. I kissed her.
