Messy Baking

Charlotte was baking at home when Mia called her but since she was so preoccupied, she never heard the phone ring. Worried Charlotte was hurt or worse, Mia drove to her house as quickly as possible, even risking the possibility of getting a ticket to get to Charlottes house to make sure she was okay. 

When she got to her house, she knocked rapidly which Charlotte then answered and upon her opening the door, Mia rushed to scan her for any injuries and asked her if she was okay. Charlotte reassured her she was okay and asked her if she wanted to join Charlotte in baking brownies for her daughter's bake sale at school. Mia of course said yes as she always wanted to take part in what Charlotte was doing and so they got to work with Mia cracking eggs and Charlotte measuring the flour. 

As Mia was whipping together the wet ingredients, she got some of the mix of her face which when Charlotte saw, she began giggling so hard tears began streaming down her face. Mia threatened to get her back for that and took a bit of the mix on her hand and put a streak of it on her face.

This declared war and Charlotte and Mia began throwing the mix at each other, making such a mess of the kitchen and their clothes that Mia finally ended the war by giving Charlotte a chaste kiss on the lips. 

Charlotte, realising what a mess they made, sent Mia to her room to take a shower in her room while Charlotte cleaned up the mess and remade the brownies alone which she clarified to Mia. After she put it in the over, she made Mia keep watch over the brownies and took a shower and came back, giggling to see Mia cleaning up what Char couldn't finish, looking up every few seconds to check on the brownies.
