Cheeku and Dada

They both moved to the allocated room with the snacks and as soon as they entered inside they were met with chaos, too many voices asking too many questions. Finally jammy bhai shouted at them to keep quiet.

Rohit: vi, tu mahi bhai ko lene gaya tha ki vahi pr ghar basane gaya tha?

Sonu: ha bhai, itni der kaha laga di tum logo ne?

Yuvi: oyye Bihari tu idhar aa jara, hua kya tha tuze ha?

Sach pa: yuvi , tum sab log unko baat karne do toh vo bolenge na.

Virat who was standing beside mahi sighed in relief , moved inside and kept the snacks on the table and said,

Virat: hash thanks sach pa, jammy bhai varna ye log to chup hi ni hote aur ro yr sabke liye snacks lene gaye the bhuk bardasht hoti hai kya yaha kisi se? isi liye late ho gaye.

While virat is questioned by everyone while distributing the snacks , Mahi quietly moved towards dada and sat beside him,

Dada: mahiya, kya hua kiddo? Achanak se uth kar kyu chale gaye aise?

Mahi: kuch nhi dada bas thoda overwhelm ho gaya aur upar se vo yuvi bol raha tha ki vo apka favourite hai isiliye gussa aagya.

Dada: mahiya bacche you know you are my special kiddo right.

Mahi: I toh know dada, ye baat aap uss yuvi ke bacche ko samjhao jab dekho tab hak jatane aa jata hai.

Dada: (chuckled) everyone knows you are my fav kiddo they just love to tease you.

Mahi: (muttered under his breath) ha ha sabko mai hi milta hun aur mujhe bhi pata ni kaha se sab popular log hi pasand aa jate hai pehle aap aur ab ye cheeku. Jo mujhe chahiye vahi sari duniya ko bhi chahiye huh..

Dada: kuch kaha tune?

Mahi: nahi toh.. mai bol raha tha ki ab thik hu mai.

Dada: accha

Just then the said cheeky rabbit came there to hand mahi snacks,

Virat: kya baatein chal rahi hai dada aur unke pyare bete ke bich haan?

Dada: kyu bhai tumhe kyu janni hai humare bich ki batein?

Virat: wah dada ye sahi hai, ab apko apna mahiya mil gaya toh hum kaun hain na?

Mahi: ho gayi apki nautanki shuru?

Viart: kahan? Abhi toh bas shuruvat huyi hai. Aap ye lijiye kuch kha lijiye aur bas show ka maja uthayiye.

Saying this Virat winked at him making both mahi and dada laugh at his antics and then joined with yuvi, sonu and team to goof and chatter. There were two groups in the room one around dada's bed where all the elder silent people sat enjoying the other groups drama, group one included dada, mahi, sach pa , jammy bhai, dona Bhabhi and group two included sonu yuvi and the senior ict team. In the afternoon juniors too joined with sana and lunch and just like that Full day is spent while entertaining dada and chatting and being there with each other. When visiting hours came to an end it was decided that jammy bhai and sach pa will be staying today as they will be leaving tomorrow to handle the work. So all the other people left for home.

Next day was similar besides jammy bhai and sach pa had to leave to handle the BCCI and academy work in dada's absence. Then after 2-3 days virat asked all the juniors to leave for their home as dada was almost recovered now and everything was fine. Just like this a week passed with yuvi , mahi, sonu, rohit, jaddu and virat being there in ranchi.

After the terrace talk mahi and virat barely got any time alone together as they got busy with their respective responsibilities. Mahi was mostly busy with dada, yuvi and sonu handling all the hospital things and virat was busy with handling all the formalities and was constantly touch with jammy bhai and sach pa. just like that a week is passed.

After a week sonu bhai had to go back to help jammy bhai. Later that day when mahi and yuvi went home to take rest dada insisted rohit, jaddu and virat to be back to their homes to which rohit and jaddu obediently listened but virat being virat didn't even budged from his place. Dada, dona Bhabhi both tried telling him that he's fine now but he straight away refused to go.

Dada: cheeku, abhi mai bilkul theek hu tuze aur rukne ki jaroorat nhi hai. Ghar pe sab intezar kar rahe honge tera vaise hi kam holidays milte hai tum logon ko.

Virat: bilkul nahi. Jabtak aap acche se thik ni hojate mai yaha se kahi nahi ja raha. Aur kya matalab gharvale intezar kar rahe honge ye bhi mera hi ghar hai aur abhi mai aise aap sabko chod ke gaya toh maa chappal se marengi.

Dona bhabi: par cheeku.

Virat: par war kuch nahi mai kahi nahi ja raha and it's final. Ro , jaddu tum log ghar jao packing karlo mai tum logon ki flights book kar deta hun.

Dada: (sternly) virat jid mat kar. ek do din me mera discharge ho jayega aur kuch laga to mahi aur yuvi hai yahan. teri yaha koi jarurat nhi hai to chupchap ghar ja aur unke sath kuch vakt bita.

Listening to dada's words virat felt hurt. He knew dada meant well but the words where he said 'teri koi jarurat nhi' hurted him a lot . he gulped his hurt as he didn't want to hurt dada or Bhabhi.

Virat: (sternly) mai kahi nahi ja raha.

Saying his point he moved out of the room. Ro and jaddu met dada and Bhabhi and then they tried to search virat but he was nowhere so they left home. In the evening mahi and yuvi returned back after bidding bye to ro and jaddu. As they entered they saw dona Bhabhi and dada discussing something.

Yuvi: hello dada, ab kaise ho aap? Bhabhi ye rabbit kidhar hai?

Dona : yuvi jara usko call try kar tu? pata nai kaha gaya hai dopeher se gayab hai, phone bhi ni utha raha.

This got mahi's attention he saw yuvi dialling Virat's number which showed he wasn't picking up. He then saw dada and dona bhabhi's worried faces. He guessed something might have happened cause cheeku rarely left his phone unanswered.

Yuvi: are dada, Bhabhi yahi kahi hoga. kaha jayega.

Dada: (worried) yuvi baat ye hai ki maine usse thoda daant diya tha aur tab se vo gayab hai. Pehle to mujhe laga yahi kahi hoga par ab vo call ni utha raha to chinta hone lag gayi.

Mahi: but hua kya dada, kyu daanta apne usko?

Then dona Bhabhi narrated them the story. When Mahi heard that he got relieved as now he understood that cheeku must be mad at dada and in order to calm himself and not say anything he must have gone out. So he said,

Mahi: dada, Bhabhi aap tension mat lijiye voh yahi kahi hoga. wait let me try once.
