Chapter 14

It was a night that nobody could sleep through except Minghao whose exhaustions didn't allow him to stay awake. Everyone else stayed awake. None of them could decipher how would they meet Hao's eyes the next day.

The manager hyung wanted to stay with Hao the whole night but his husband suggested to give him atleast the night's privacy so he went to their own room. But he was not able to close his eyelids for even a minute. His husband slept soundly while holding him. Yet, his brain kept giving him alarming signals for tomorrow. Only when the clock announced 6am he sighed and woke up to make breakfast. He took the breakfast tray and went straight to Hao's room to find Minghao sitting up in his bed, scrolling through his phone, tears dripping from his eyes and he was evidently broken from inside.

Manager hyung could barely hold his tray. Last night, he totally forgot about the possibility that Hao could wake up any moment and find everything through his phone. He should have just hidden that phone but being a kind hearted soul, he barely managed to only switch it off.

He managed to drop the tray at the side table. Minghao is still not in his sense. He is frantically scrolling through everything.

"Myungho-ah...hyung...."

"Hyung.....hyung....hyung.....what... just happened..?"
Minghao's voice was already breaking.

Manager hyung went beside the bed and hugged Minghao tightly. He took his phone and placed it behind. Minghao was shaking in his embrace.

"Myungho-ah a very bad thing happened. Please calm down."

Minghao said nothing. After a while he stopped shaking. His tears also dried.  He wiped his eyes and said,
"Hyung, can you drop me to our dorm?"

"Now? Right now? Minghao that's dangerous. Some crazy people have reached your dorm too. If you enter from there your life will be in danger. So no way."

"Hyung, I'm telling you. You are the only person who has every solution. You can take me there someway. I'm sure, they haven't slept the whole night. How can I be so selfish and stay here in this safety cocoon?"
Minghao was becoming impatient.

"But these crazy bitches are hating on you. Not the other members. They will attack on you but probably not other members. And what if there's a strong Alpha in those mobs too who forcefully take you and knock me out too? Then? Sorry Myungho I've done everything you said till date but not today. I can't take this risk."

Manager hyung stood up from the bed.

Minghao held his hand, "but you said the choice is mine. Didn't you? I choose to love twelve of them and get mated by twelve of them. Will you still not help me hyung? If I can't be with them in such a risky time, how will I be able to say that I love them?"

"In this situation Hao, seriously?"

Manager hyung let Hao's hand go and brought out his phone to call S.Coups. The leader picked up in just 2 rings, which was a clear evidence that nobody slept.

"Hello hyung."

"Coups, how's the situation there?"

"I can't tell it's good. Some times ago I checked people started gathering in front of our dorm too. Hybe had sent bodyguards last night, cancelled all our schedules. But except that they were doing nothing to remove the video or explain or anything."

"Oh. Okay."

"How's Myungho hyung?"

"He is being adamant to go to the dorm right now."

"WHATT?? HYUNG HE KNOWS? "

"unfortunately yes. He woke up early and scrolled his phone. Sorry I couldn't hide it which I should have done. Now earlier he was crying but now he is being a brat. He wants to go to dorm to stay beside you all."

"No way hyung, it's dangerous for him. You know that."

"I've said that couple of times. But you're the leader. Give some sense into his brain."
Manager hyung sighed and passed the phone to Minghao.

Minghao didn't like the conversation from start. But reluctantly he took the phone, "Hello Coups hyung."

"Myungho, are you feeling all right?"

"Yeah. Hyung I want to be with you all please. They can hurt you all. I want to go."
Minghao started whining.

"Myungho Myungho listen, they'll do nothing to us. But they can hurt you. And you're getting hurt a lot recently because of us. So no, not anymore. You stay there, in Manager hyung's house. Don't be brat and Don't go out until this all settle down. Please Myungho I'm begging. For once, let us protect you."

"But....hyung....I..."

"Please be there baby please. We'll video call you every passing hour. OK? Please promise me you'll stay safe and will not feel broken about all those hate trains on internet. You know right? That we can't please everyone in this world."

"Promise. I'll try. And I'm sorry hyung for yesterday. I want you all to be happy, I don’t want you all to suffer."

"Myungho listen, you are our great comfort, joy and happiness. You give all of us strength. And that's why you have to be safe and healthy. We'll miss you too. Just wait for the right time. Okay?"

"Okay hyung."

Minghao gave the phone back to Manager hyung and sat in the bed sulking.

"Now eat the breakfast I made for you and contemplate how you'll mate with 12 giant Alphas? You know what I mean...."

Manager hyung brought the tray in bed. His statement made Minghao blush so hard that his cheeks became little cherry tomatoes, and he wanted to just vanish away.

"Hyungggggg......Stopppp...."

"But am glad Minghao that you get to make your choice. I genuinely am. I hope everything becomes all right soon."

It's easy to say than to happen. So the situation took almost one week to calm down. This one week Myungho stayed with Manager hyung and never went out, he nicknamed it as he was being home-jailed. Also other members couldn't go outside too, they also stayed in their dorm everyday. Even though at first it seemed Hybe was doing nothing but they slowly did some lawsuits against the person who took the footage and circulated it. Then they gave a strong statement with legal help that basically said, "If our artists aren't comfortable of sharing something we don't do that. But in that case if a third party shares those infos we'll take strong legal actions like this." They also sued the restaurant as it's impossible for a saesang to capture them for so long if the restaurant had nothing to do with it. And with all these statements and legal actions Carats got a strong hold of the situation so now they took control of everything on internet. They started trending the hashtags  #Idolsdeserveprivacy , #Bannsaesangs #JusticeforMinghao etc. They wrote so many heart warming posts, letters that it surpassed all the hates Minghao was receiving for days. They clearly mentioned how they love Seventeen as a Seventeen not by the designations of Alpha, Beta or Omega.

Hybe also made Minghao write a letter which he did. He clearly mentioned that at first he was not comfortable of sharing his ABO result, not even with his band mates, but when he became confident only then it got released like that, also with some very private conversations that he never wanted to come out to public. But it did. And with it came thousands and thousands of hate which ignited his own fears, anxiety, stress and insecurities. He never wish anyone in this world to go through such a horrible and scary situation. And he hopes Carats will still love him for his talents because he himself will never stop loving them.

Minghao didn't break down much even when it was the most possible scenario for him in between so much hatered. Situations like this proves a person's actual inner strength. Minghao was not that weak how the world depicted him with just one ABO result. But he was the weakest infront of Seventeen. Even the strongest soldier can melt down infront of love.
