It had been nearly five hours since the present time,

just 30 minutes after the outbreak. With Anh's assistance, both Anh and the people following Slyde safely reached the safe room on the sixth floor.

Everyone settled down in the safe room after escaping the slow-walking zombie hordes. Along the way, 30 people blindly followed Slyde, unknowingly protecting him by keeping him in the middle of the group.

Now, the safe room is filled with just 17 members, including Anh and Slyde. Fifteen members have died, most of them students. They mourn the loss of friends, boyfriends, and girlfriends.

The irony of the situation is stark: students who trusted the professors either died or became zombies in vain. The comedic aspect of this survival ordeal lies in the fact that despite the decrease in students, the number of professors remains unchanged.

Among the initial 30 members, including Slyde, there are eight professors and 22 students who blindly followed them. Of these, 15 students have died or turned into zombies.

Anh laughed at the remaining students in the safe room, who believed that the deaths of their friends and loved ones were mere accidents, unaware that they were sacrificed by the adults they trusted.

Anh observed the professors trying to calm down the students, who were crying and struggling with the loss of someone close to them. He looked at them and murmured to himself, "Do these guys really think they can survive if they blindly trust these professors?"

One of the professors was consoling a girl who was crying over the loss of her boyfriend. Anh looked at him and thought to himself, "Isn't he the same professor who pushed her boyfriend to save his own ass?"

"I'm not saying the professors are wrong. Those lines about the old protecting the young are just words. Everyone wants to save their own life. But what pisses me off is these students who rely so heavily on these professors. They don't realize their loved ones died because of it and still think hanging with these professors is safe. At the very least, they could think for themselves and watch their surroundings. No. Fuck them. I need to find a way to get out of this hell. If I stay around these fools , they will definitely kill me to save their own lives."

Anh sat in the corner of the safe room, thinking of ways to get out of this hell. He had a lot of ideas, but each one had a 70 to 90 percent chance of death. While he was contemplating the perfect plan, he heard someone say "Gun!" He opened his eyes and saw a student who had taken a semi-automatic shotgun from one of the lockers. "Isn't that a Benelli M4 Super 90? Should I take it? It looks like the shotgun is unloaded." Another student found a bag filled with shotgun shells in the same locker and tried to load it, but they didn't know how.

Anh thought, "Maybe I should take care of it. Who knows what those idiots will do with that shotgun? In the worst-case scenario, they'll break the lock." Before Anh could say a word, a chemistry professor walked towards them, grabbed the shotgun from the students trying to load it, and said, "This is not something a child should handle. I will take care of it."

One of the students asked, "Do you know how to use a shotgun, sir?"

The chemistry professor replied, "Why would I take a shotgun if I didn't know how to use it?"

Anh, still sitting in the same place, thought with a slight sigh, "At least someone is taking care of that gun. Who knows what those idiots would do with it? Besides, that thing would only cause me problems. Reloading takes a long time, and the sound attracts more zombies. I don't need that."
