With their hair curled into neat ringlets that draped over their shoulders and framed their faces pinned into an updo, Lyn and Elena stood in front of the mirror. Delicate makeup had been brushed onto their faces in order to add to the look. Layers upon layers of fabrics and undergarments had already been placed upon their bodies. The period look was one of elegance and style. For those with access to money, that is. But Lyn decided not to dwell on the injustice of it all and instead appreciate the stunning gown she was wearing. Jenna had just finished tying up Lyn's corset and had moved on to Elena's.

"Ah. This dress hurts." Elena complained as Jenna finished off the final details.

"Suck it in, baby," Jenna commented.

"Whiny." Lyn pointed out.

"Hey!" Elena exclaimed, causing Lyn to giggle.

"Well, we better get going before Mrs. Lockwood throws a hissy fit," Lyn said knowingly. Jenna scoffed a bit before she led the girls out of the room. Once they found themselves out in the courtyard of the school, Elena set out looking for Stefan. "Hey, look. There he is." Lyn pointed when she laid eyes on the two Salvatore brothers, both of whom immediately had their breath taken away at the sight of them. Or rather, at the sight of Elena. Despite knowing that she was not the object of their desire, Lyn curtsied along with her sister before heading off to find her friends.

She did catch the edge of Elena's conversation with Stefan as she was wandering around. Something about John being their biological father. Safe to say, she wasn't shocked. She had put that together from the moment Isobel mentioned that John used to like her. "Lyn!" She turned her head when she heard Caroline call out to her. A grin appeared on her face as she rushed over to her friends.

"Hello, Miss Mystic!" Lyn greeted, holding up the edges of her skirt in order to keep them clean. Caroline blushed a little as Bonnie laughed happily. "What are you guys up to?"

"We're taking pictures," Bonnie explained. Caroline returned to Matt and posed as Bonnie held up the digital camera to capture the photo. "Say cheese!"

"Oh, wait. Hide your cast. It's not era-appropriate." Caroline told Matt.

"Seriously?" Caroline dramatically flopped her arms down at her boyfriend's resistance.

"Yes!"

"Okay. Alright, come here." He ushered. They smiled for the picture, but Matt's expression darkened as Tyler came up behind them in order to accompany Lyn on the float.

"Here. I can take it." He offered, taking the camera from Bonnie. Matt glared at him a bit before glancing back at Caroline.

"I'll be on the float." He told them coldly and then proceeded to walk away from them.

"I said I was sorry." Tyler defended with a scoff.

"You made out with his mother, and then you beat him to a pulp. You're going to have to do a little bit better than sorry." Caroline pointed out before following Matt toward the float. Tyler sighed in disappointment.
