"Hello, Elena, Lyn. It's nice to see you both again."
Jenna seemed frozen in shock. Sure, they had told her about Isobel but seeing her was alive and on their doorstep was a completely different situation. "You-you're,"
"So, you're the woman who's dating my husband. I need to speak to Elena and Lyn. May I come in?"
Jenna still seemed frozen, but by then Lyn had snapped out of her shocked state. "Not a chance in hell!" She spat, coming closer to the door.
"I need to talk to you both."
"No!" Lyn then slammed the door in her biological mother's face. She let out a shaky exhale and turned to her sister and aunt.
"Jenna, are you okay?" Elena asked their aunt, who looked pale and unsteady.
"Why don't we sit down," Lyn suggested, gently steering Jenna over to the couch and taking a seat on her left. Jenna was closing her eyes and breathing in deeply when Lyn looked back at her aunt. After a moment, and a scared look shared between herself and her sister, Lyn placed her hand lightly on Jenna's shoulder. "Jenna?"
Jenna inhaled a deep and somewhat shaky breath before nodding her head. "I'm okay. I just wasn't expecting that"
"I don't think any of us were expecting that," Elena admitted.
"Oh, I am so going to annihilate John the next time I see him," Lyn promised, clutching her hands together both to feel grounded and to signify the anger she felt towards her uncle-slash-biological father. "I mean what is he thinking?"
"I don't think he is," Elena agreed.

Alaric showed up not too late the next morning in order to get Jenna out of the house and away from John. Every one of them was on their last straw with that asshole.
"This is bad." Elena expressed as she, Lyn, and Stefan sat in her room. "Between Isobel showing up and Matt finding out, this is disaster bad,"
"Yeah," Stefan agreed, sitting next to Elena on the bay window and Lyn paced across the wood floors.
"On the bright side..." Lyn began, earning looks from Stefan and Elena. "Yeah, I got nothing." She said in defeat, pursing her lips together. "Optimism has never been my strong suit."
Elena scoffed at the situation and then John entered the room. "Elena, Lyn, can you come downstairs, please? I need to talk to you both,"
Elena and Lyn both scoffed at that, exasperation for John overflowing in their emotions. "We have nothing to say to you," Elena told him.
"So kindly get out before you manage to make this situation even worse," Lyn told him, making sure to sneer at him.
