[Sometime later, with Nami]
After some more time in the city, Nami came across Ussop...
Who somehow found himself in a duel with a famous gunslinger.
Which doesn't matter at the moment, because after resolving the entire situation, both of the cowardly straw hat duo also ended up finding Sanji!!!
...Who is carrying a fish bigger than himself, after they observed another duel... a culinary duel in this case.
Nami thinks to herself how she ended up with this bunch of crazy people. But at the end of the day, they are HER bunch of crazy people.
The three walk together, talking about what they've been doing in the last few hours. Usopp helps Sanji carry the gigantic fish and complains about it, while the cook imagines what he can prepare with the giant ingredient with a smile on his face.
And as they walk the always observant Ussop notices a bag with Nami that he doesn't recognize,
"Hey Nami, did you buy anything else besides the clothes?" The young man asks, making Nami look at him. She doesn't understand what he means by that until she realizes that Ussop is talking about the old bag that is on her shoulder.
A smirk comes to Nami's face.
"This is something I would like to talk to everyone about, I found someone to help us with our trip to the Grand Line." She says, making Ussop look surprised and Sanji snap out of his cooking frenzy.
"Hmm, did you find a guide, Nami-san?" Sanji says, interested. After all, if there's anyone in the crew he trusts with this kind of thing, it's Nami.
She nods, and explains the situation better,
"In a way, yes Sanji-kun. His name is Theo, I ended up bumping into him while I was shopping." She says and takes the bag showing it to both of them. "This bag is his, and that leads us to his condition for him to serve as our guide, which is... He wants to sail with us." Nami finishes the story and stops to look at the two.
Both Sanji and Ussop seem quite surprised,
"W-wait Nami! Are you sure this is a good idea? We're going to the Grand Line, it's really d-dangerous there!" Ussop exclaims slightly nervously,
Sanji nods, finding the situation a bit strange,
"Frankly Nami-san, fearful-kun here has a point. Is this guy sure he wants to sail with a pirate crew?" Sanji raises an eyebrow at the girl and adjusts his cigarette.
Nami shrugs,
"Well, that won't be a problem. After all, Theo-kun is a pirate from the Grand Line."
She says simply, her smirk growing and Sanji and Ussop's surprise only getting bigger.
She chuckles seeing their faces and rolls her eyes.
"Well, all of this isn't a sure thing yet. We have to talk to Luffy about it yet, Theo said he'll meet us at the Merry later and as a sign of commitment I have his things with me." She says and shakes the young man's bag.
Sanji sighs and smiles.
"Nami-san, if this works out in the end, I will make you a dinner fit for the gods," the cook said, contemplating how much this could help them in the end.
'A pirate from the Grand Line... I wonder, what's his favorite food?' The cook thinks and he ends up noticing Nami looking up.
"The air has changed... It's going to rain."
