Thursday 20th April: The Year 2000. Draco writes near a quiet stream a few miles south of Hogwarts. The towers can be seen in the distance and the sky is a clear crystal blue as the butterflies dance nearby.

To my princess, Hermione.

I'm actually glad your Dad found my letters. Our love shouldn't be a secret.

I do not care what anyone else thinks. And it is because of this, I decided to tell my parents about us.

Dad threw a few well aimed curses at me. (Nothing I couldn't handle) don't worry I'm perfectly okay!

Dad's moved out. He says I've brought shame on the family for falling for a muggle.

Mum's not too happy, but she says she just wants me to be happy.

Therefore she's accepted it. She says dad will come round in the end.

Slughorn is actually a useful contact to have. Who knows, with his friendship you could even be Minister for Magic one day!

Yes, being there with you would be amazing. I probably wouldn't be able to concentrate on the game though, if you know what I mean ;-)

I remember the first time I saw you my stomach was in knots, like I'd been hit by a bludger...

The present? Don't mention it, you totally deserved to be spoiled.

Oh and thank you for recalling my encounter with the Whomping Willow.

Let's keep it between us eh please. I wouldn't want my rep to take a hit haha.

I'll keep practicing my compliments. We have a whole lifetime to share them.

Enjoy the game and speak soon,

Lots of love always,

your Draco. xxx
