StrayTeez (Ateez and Stray Kids FF)

KQ and JYP Merging

Getting woken up to a phone call early in the morning was not my idea of fun since I hardly sleep as it is, but oh well. I get out of bed and get ready for the day, that took maybe ten minutes. I leave the dorm and head to the company building and straight to the meeting room I sat down and the boss wasted no time with what he had to say. "Bang Chan your group has been selected for a major project. KQ and JYP are merging and we are merging another group with your group. Ateez will be merging with Stray Kids. I know both groups have worked together before so we found it right to fit Stray Kids with Ateez. I will leave the dorm arrangements to you and Hongjoong and any songs that you both want to redo. I leave all the decisions to you leaders." The boss said and dismissed me. I sighed as I made my way back to the dorm. I am actually very excited to work with Ateez again and as far as I know this is a permanent thing so I think I need to get started as soon as possible. 

I get back to the dorm and I gather everyone in the kitchen as Lee Know is cooking I sit at the table. "So I just got word that KQ and JYP are merging and with that we will be merging with another group. We are merging with Ateez and I have to pick songs that we get to redo with them and of course I am sure that means that we will need to also redo music videos. I will also get to pick dorm arrangements." I said and of course my announcement will bring questions, it wasn't long before they were asked, but I couldn't answer at this exact second because my phone rang. I look at my phone and see that Hongjoong is calling. I excuse myself and I go to a quiet part of the dorm to answer. 

Bang Chan: "Hey. I assume you found out about our companies merging that we will be working together?"

Hongjoong: "Yes I just heard. I thought I would call and ask if you were free? So we can meet up and talk things out without prying eyes and ears."

Bang Chan: "We can meet in my recording studio, I am sure we won't be bothered. Did you hear that we have to pick songs to redo with our newly merged group?"

Hongjoong: "Yeah I heard about that as well and we both know it will be a pain in the ass, but we will make it work. I will meet you in your studio in an hour."

I hear the phone go dead and sighed as I went back into the kitchen to answer any questions the guys have before I have to leave and meet with the captain. Right when I reach the kitchen I am stopped and bombarded with questions. "Do you have any idea what dorms we will be in? If not I would like to share a room with Wooyoung." Changbin expressed, I instantly said no. "If you are sharing a room with Wooyoung we should all just dig our own graves. You two will cause hell upon both me and Hongjoong and I don't think either of us will be able to handle the both of you unless we separate you both." I said and got a bunch of laughs from the rest of the guys. "Bin I think Bang Chan has a point you and Wooyoung would cause nothing but chaos." Felix said while laughing. I just stood there shaking my head as I sat down. "Do any of you guys have ideas as to what songs we should redo with Ateez?" I asked

Felix: "Oh Circus would be a good one."

Seungmin: "I think Youtiful would be a good one."

I.N: "The sound would be good."

Hyunjin: "How about Red Lights with one of the members of Ateez?"

Han: "Gods Menu I would love to see Ateez try to keep up with that one."

Lee Know: "I would like to do Wow with their main dancers."

Changbin: "How about Double Knot?"

The guys then look to me to make a decision on the final song. I smile and tell them the song I am thinking about. "I think Cheese would be a good song to redo." I said and the guys all agreed with me, I just smiled in response. It is a pain in the ass to redo songs that have already been released, but it is so much worse, because the lines need to be redistributed, choreography needs to be taught, recordings need to be redone, and the music videos need to be reshot and of course all of this is going to take up a lot of our free time. I wrote down all of the songs that were chosen by the guys and myself. I honestly couldn't agree more with the songs that they chose. I sit and talk with the guys a little longer before I leave and head to the studio. I sit down in my chair and not even five minutes go by before there is a knock at my door. "Come in." I said and Hongjoong comes into the room closing the door behind him.

Hongjoong sits down I smile at him. "Welcome to my studio. How are you Captain?" I said getting up and hugging him then sitting back down in my chair. "I am good. Did you guys decide on the songs that we will be redoing with you?" He asked and I nodded "Yes we did here is what we chose. Circus, Youtiful, The Sound, Red Lights with one of your members, Gods Menu, Wow with your main dancers, Double Knot, and Cheese." I said and Hongjoong just smiled and sighed softly. "I think those are great songs especially Red Lights. I am looking forward to who we pick for that song. The songs me and the guys chose are. Bouncy, The Real, Paradigm, Say My Name, Hala Hala, Halazia, The Black Cat Nero, and Rocky." He said and I nodded while writing the songs down. "Sounds good to me. Man this is going to be hard but I am sure we will manage. From what I understand they want this done as so as possible but they are also giving us time to get to know each other more and getting everyone settled in their new dorms before we actually start on redoing these songs. This is going to be rough for us but with more eyes and hands to help with this process I am sure this could go faster than it would normally." I said.

After we talked about the songs we will be doing we moved onto the dorm arrangements we wanted to keep Changbin and Wooyoung away from each other for right now because we will not be able to handle the both of them right off the bat. Hongjoong soon makes a suggestion. "How about your members are in a dorm with me and my members are in a dorm with you. I say this because we haven't had to deal with each others members and I think it will be important for us the leader and captain to know how each others members are." He said and I nodded. "That sounds good to me I think they will be a handful at first, but I am sure we can handle them eventually. Oh what about the name of our group now since we are now one full group." I said and this is when we both started to think about this. Soon Hongjoong spoke up. "How about StrayTeez a mix of our group names." He said I nodded and smiled as I wrote it down. "That is wonderful I think it will work." I said and leaned back in my chair.

We both move onto who will meet who and what groups should meet first. We talk about this for awhile and soon come up with a list of each group of who will meet who. We separated the groups into Main Dancers, Main Vocalists, Main Rappers, and Visuals. Hongjoong brought up another group that they have within Ateez and it is called the demon line. "Who do you want in the demon line from my group?" I asked and he hummed in thought. "I will have to see their facial expressions in order for me to make a choice on that, but I'm sure I will see that when we have the main dancers meet up and do some practice together." He said I nodded understanding what he means by that. After we came up with everything we both headed up to the bosses office and when we entered I set down the paper of everything the Captain and I came up with.

The boss seemed to understand everything and started to get the dorms set up and now I have to go and inform everyone back at my dorm and Hongjoong needs to inform his group at his dorm so with that we went our separate ways and when I stepped inside the dorm with all the guys I was instantly bombarded. I sighed and sat down already stressed from the questions. "Alright slow down guys. The dorm arrangements is Ateez members will be in the dorm with me and you guys will be in a dorm with their Captain. We decided that it would go this way so that way us as leaders will get to know each others group. We also came up with a group name since this is permanent and we decided on StrayTeez. Our main dancers will meet first and yes both Hongjoong and I will be there with each group that meets. The next group will be our main vocalists, then our main rappers, then the Visuals. Hongjoong also wants to add three people to the demon line but he will have to pick while you guys are practicing to see your facial expressions." I said and soon the questions died down and it seems it is because I answered all of their questions. I go back to the studio to start on redoing our songs and of course Hongjoong has already sent me the files on the songs that they had chosen. I start on Stray Kids songs since I am very familiar with our own songs than I am with Ateez songs. I work the rest of the day and most of the night until I fell asleep on my desk.
