Stairway to Heaven

Evelyn woke up to knocks on her door so loud that she thought her door was going to fall off. When she looked at her watch, it was 4 a.m., which made her angrier.
"Mark, what are you doing here?" she asked, irritated by his hobby "I'm in love with Lexie," he said, breathing heavily and entering his ex-girlfriend's apartment.
"And you have to try and break down my door at 4 in the morning?" she said closing the door with her arms crossed "Help me please!" Mark said walking through the woman's living room
"Calm down Sloan, look you're hot it'll be fine" she said yawning at the end of her sentence "Oh please I am McSteamy of course I am hot" he said so ego high
"So don't worry, just promise me one thing" the shepherd said coming close to Sloan clenching him with her eyes "don't break her heart" she said as if she were his mother
"Why would I break her heart?" He asked with a questioning face "because you have this reputation, and Lexie is my protégé, you hear me?" She said it would be because she really protected Lexie
"Now we can talk, is the sex good?" the shepherd asked going into the kitchen to make coffee for the two of them "she's great, the best I've ever had" mark said "Thanks mark" she said using the coffee machine
"I mean with you it was great, but Lexie, she's just fantastic" he said and Evelyn noticed the sparkle in his eyes "do you want coffee?" She said grabbing the cups from the cupboard
"I do, you have to promise me you won't tell anyone" he said "pink promises" she replied
They drank coffee and stayed there until about 9 a.m. which was when their shift started and they went to the hospital together, Sloan giving Shepherd a lift.

As soon as Evelyn arrived at the hospital, she went straight to the pediatric floor to visit a baby she had delivered last afternoon, then she had to stay in trauma for the rest of the day but she saw Bailey sitting in front of a patient's room crying
"Are you okay Bailey?" she asked with her hands in the pockets of her lab coat and Bailey turned and said "How do you like pediatrics?" She asked tearfully
"Is the patient dying?" Evelyn asked crouching down next to Bailey "he's going to die, and the only thing I can do is sit here and wait"
"Bailey, this is pediatrics, that's why they're considered the heaviest surgeons in this hospital, and you're the heaviest I know" she said wiping the tears from the crying woman's face.
"I can't do that, I just can't" she said looking into the shepherd's eyes "You can do whatever you want, you're Miranda Bailey, be strong" she said getting up "Thank you shepherd" Bailey said smiling and Evelyn only replied with a comfortable smile

"Oh Dr. Shepherd! Thank god you're here" Lexie said as Evelyn was rushing down the corridor "I'm going to the ER, I've got a 911 call," she said, walking straight past the redhead
"No no it was me! I paged you 911 for Dr. Sloan" she said making Evelyn stop "he's the emergency. Himself it's on his person" Lexie continued
"Mark's hurt?" she asked frightened "Yes. no. Yes. Badly injured in a bad way, that is bad for anyone who is a man but for Dr. Sloan in particular he may have broken a bone" she said leaving Evelyn confused and frightened "A bone?" She asked more confused "He broke a bone, I broke his bone" she said which made Evelyn laugh
"You're joking, aren't you?" she asked, still laughing, and when she saw Lexie's frightened and slightly guilty face, she walked off with Lexie by her side.

After calling Callie to look at Sloan's broken bone, Evelyn went to rest in the attendants' room, she'd had one more surgery before Sloan's accident and just wanted a moment's peace until she could get back to work.
"You're Izzie's friend, aren't you?" Arizona asked, entering the room stressed out, which made Evelyn startle, because her eyes were closed.
"She's acting strange, she's very distracted!" Arizona said, pouring some coffee into her cup. "She's going through a difficult time," Evelyn said, trying to get rid of the subject.
"If you don't want to talk, just let me know!" Arizona said getting more stressed "I don't want to talk" Evelyn replied calmly and went back to sleep but woke up again to hear the door slamming loudly, probably Arizona had left stressed out, which made Evelyn have a guilty conscience but the sleep was greater

After a long day at work, Evelyn decided to stop for joes, and after a few tequilas she went into the bathroom to cry, and as she was sitting at the sink a smiling blonde came into the bathroom
"Why are you crying?" the blonde said, she was wearing a green blouse, jeans and heeled boots "I'm lonely" she said tearfully
"when you get tired of crying, you could see how beautiful you are, lots of people in the hospital want you" she said looking at her "can you tell me one person?" she said wiping her tears and laughing
and then she approached and kissed Evelyn, gently, with her hand on her cheek and Evelyn, who had never felt a girl's lips on hers, felt her whole body shiver, and then as she was about to put her hands on the blonde's waist she pulled away and said "you can start looking for the pediatric ward"
And so Evelyn felt something she had never felt before, passion or chemistry, she didn't know, she was very confused.
