Chapter 17 Patrol Punishment

Luna pov

I arrived at the house with a worried Earth waiting for me. "Where were you, Luna." He asked me. "I was hanging out with the other moons and Triton said he needed to talk to me but he passed out so I had to call Neptune to go get him," I explained to Earth. "Okay, that is exceptional. Now come and eat dinner." He tells me, leading me inside.

Neptune pov

Me and Triton arrived back home. "Go straight to your room and do not speak of this ever again," I said to him before we got into the house. "We're back," I say to the littles in my high-pitched voice. "Triton's okay." The little ones say running up to hug their big brother. "I'm okay guys. Now I'm going to my room." Triton says, trying to get away. "But why Triton?" Proteus asked. "Just let him go to his room," I tell Proteus. Triton then left for his room. When I was done cooking dinner I brought some to Triton. "Here's your dinner," I tell him and give him his plate. "T-thanks." He says trying not to make contact with me. "You'll be going on patrol with me tonight," I tell him and leave. I get other plates ready for them to eat. "Kids come for dinner," I call them and they come to the table. "Where's Triton?" One asked, "Does he not get food?" Another one asked. "I already brought him food to his room," I explained to them and they started eating.

Once the kids were in bed I went to Triton's room. "Time to patrol Triton," I tell him. "What do you mean?" He asked me. "Just follow me," I tell him and he follows. We went into my secret closet and his mythology set and trident down. "Go to my bathroom and put this on." I direct him and he follows. I get my mythology set on too. It took him a few minutes to get it on but he soon came out with it on. "Is this necessary?" He asked me. "Yes, now leave your glasses and take your trident," I tell him, handing him his Trident.

We head for the dwarf planet's house. "Wait, why are you going to the dwarf planet house." He asked me. "We need to deal with one problem," I told him. When we arrived at the dwarf planet's house I whistled loudly. Then you could hear barking and howling. Then you could see lights going on. But then two big wolves came running at me. I then see a window open. "Are they finally gone?" I heard MakeMake say but he was shirtless. Then I see Haumea peeking out the window too wearing what looks to be MakeMake's hoodie. "Wait, what are those figures?" Haumea said to MakeMake. We have been spotted. Both of the wolves were by my side when suddenly a light shined on us. "INTRUDERS THERE ARE INTRUDERS IN THE YARD!" We hear Haumea yell and wake the others up. "Run," I said to Triton and we started heading for the asteroid belt.

After a little while we stopped running with the wolves. "What were they doing over there?" Triton asked. "I don't know," I said. "You'll take Cloud and go that way. And I'll take Kuiper and go the other way. We will meet at the house in three hours." I instructed him. And we both went our separate ways.
