Dozen navel ships made a defense line all guns point to port side, 10 battle ships and 2 heavy cruises waited. Above them 4 heavy airships hovered above them, 80 fighters flew around.
"Airships Musai, Rothenberg and Phenoix, have confirmed godzilla Is approaching all ships prepare for combat" Ironwood said from his command post at beacon academy.
"Godzilla sighted" a navy captain said
The spines of godzilla swam directly infront of the defense line.
In the command post that was in Ospins office, a large screen showed godzilla swimming to the line.
"All ships fire" he said standing tall.
All the ships began to fire, the triple barrel turrets on the battleships fired at the same time. The explosions covered godzilla spines in black smoke, rounds landed all around him.
"No good,all airships fire at will" Ironwood said
The guns in the airships joined the fight, firing all weapons.
"Target is slowing down" a voice said on the radio.
"Godzilla is surfacing!" Another voice said
Godzilla stood up and looked around, he growled. The guns still firing and hitting him, completely unaffected and unbothered by the larges round hitting him.
"Good, airships fire rail guns" Ironwood said
The rail guns began to charge, all airships aimed at godzilla.
Godzilla began to glow blue,
"Radiation levels are rising" a voice said
"Whats it doing?" Ospin asked standing next to Ironwood.
A blue beam fired out of his mouth, it hit the Musai at the center of the formation.
The screen wemt out.
"What happened? I need a damage report now" Ironwood said
The soliders with him put down there radios.
"We lost contact with Defesne line Maria sir" a solider said
"Are they being jammed by the Radiation?" He asked
"No sir.....the lines are all dead, it's like they don't exist anymore" the solider replied
"Then that means....they been annihilated" Ospin said
Ironwood shook his head.
"Lets not freak out just yet, I want eyes on defense line Maria now" He barked
"Drone was close by Maria bringing up images now"
The screen turned on, they gasped. The sea was boiling, only small scattered burning peices of the ships remained. The sky was black and smoke and steam filled the area.
Godzilla stood and let out a deep guttural roar, he looked at the drone and growled.
At the command post eveyone could feel the gaze of godzilla. Everyone was shaking but Ironwood was the only one able to hold it back.
Godzilla dived down to the ocean again and disappeared under the boiling water.
"He....he took out a whole fleet with one shot, the Musai is..." a female solider said shaking she began to cry and kept screaming. Another solider took her to the elevator and wemt down.
"Sorry sir, Private Rones boyfriend was on the Musai" another soldier said
Ironwood looked down for a moment then up.
"I won't let the deaths of any of the brave men and women of the 5th fleet be in vain, set up a new line, tell the 2nd fleet to use only rail guns, Godzilla seemed scared when he saw the rail guns charging that must be his weakness" Ironwood said
Meanwhile
Juane and Yang finally returned to their apartment in vail. The door opened and yang sat in the living room while jaune headed for the kitchen.
"You think Ironwood is right? You think Atlas will kill godzilla? Yang asked
"Highly doubt it, you saw what it did to the dawn, it will be a massacre plain ans simple" Jaune replied
"So what will kill godzilla?" Yang asked
Jaune came back with 2 glasses and some Whiskey.
"No idea, but what I do know is we need to relax while we still can" he replied handing her a glass and pouring her some whiskey.
He sat next to her.
"The good stuff huh?" She asked
"Yeah im going to need it" He said taking a sip
Yang looked at him as he started to take off his bandages. Slowly he removed the one covering her face revealing a massive scare but his eyes still intact.
"How do I look?" He asked
"Well you were ugly before but now you are ugly with a wicked scar" Yang replied
"Awwww, love you too" juane said leaning in to kiss her cheek playfully
Yang smiled and giggled gently pushing him away. Juane raised his glass.
"A toast to the crew of the dawn, may they be forever remembered" Jaune said
Yang nodded and raised bee glass
"A toast to the second chance we been given, let's not mess this up" Yang said
They nodded and drank.
A few drinks later.....
Jaune helped Yang up as she was feeling tipsy as he was. Not drunk just swimming.
"Come on yang let's get you to bed" Juane said
"Y-you sometimes I think that I should have dated you, ya know" Yang said
"I know, I'm a interesting guy" Juane replied
Juane brought her to her bedroom and lay her on the bed. He flet Yang hold his hand.
"Wait, can you...you know stay with me tonight" she asked
Juane nodded, He was about to kay next to her but she grabbed him and forced him on top of her.
"I meant romantically" she said
Juane heart was beating fast and si was yangs both blushed and looked at each other, at that moment jaune fell in love with yang.
"Y-yang" he said staring at her purple eyes which were flowing in the moonlight
Yang took off her jacket and top.
"Im all yours now" she said .
Jaune leaned in and they kissed, and spent the whole night together. In each other's embrace.
