"911. What's the address of your emergency?" A woman's soft voice answered the phone. "The biggersons in the main city, there's a young man vandalizing the side of the building with spray paint, and he won't listen to me." An old lady responded, her voice sounding extremely concerned."Ok ma'am, well send someone out, thank you for your call." The women hung up before yelling behind her, "Novak! Biggersons in the main city, vandalized by a 'young boy,' you wanna go check that out for me?" She heard footsteps around the corner, and Officer Novak came into view.
"Yea, I'll go check it out, I'll be back." He smiled slightly. This caused the woman to blush like crazy. Everyone had the hots for Officer Novak. He had slight curls in his dark brown hair, he was fit like he worked out often, his eyes were a shining color of bright blue that were way too easy to get lost in, his voice was deep and gravely, and he was the sweetest man to ever exist. The only problem was... every time one of the women asked him out, he would politely decline without a reason. Like he just didn't want a relationship.
Officer Novak walked out to his police car, starting it so he could drive into the city. As he got to the biggersons, he walked around the corner into an alley to see a young looking man spray painting the wall. "Hey, what are you doing? What's your name?"
"My name's Dean, what's yours, pretty boy?" Dean set down his paint can, stepping back from the wall to look at his masterpiece. "Officer Novak. Why are you vandalizing this building?" As he said his name, officer Novak looked up at the painting. It was a perfect painting of a Chevy Impala. It looked as though you'd find it preserved, sitting in a museum.
"I just thought it would look nice here? Doesn't it?" Dean nudged the officer. "It would look nicer on a canvas. People have to clean this up. You do realize this is a crime, right?" Officer Novak stepped away from Dean so he wouldn't touch him again.
"Well, it doesn't have to be washed off. It looks good there." Dean didn't realize the gravity of his situation just yet. Officer Novak shook his head, "Ok, well, I'm just gonna let you off with a warning, and I'm confiscating your paints. You can have a parent come by later if you want them back. Stop vandalizing public property, please." The officer picked up Deans bag of paint cans and walked to his car, leaving Dean in the alley to look at his art.
Nobody ever came by to pick up the paints, so Officer Novak decided to just throw them away. There wasn't another call about someone vandalizing public property for days. Almost two weeks went by before another call went in.
"911. What's the address of your emergency?" The woman officer spoke into the phone, hands ready to type. "There's a boy. He looked about 17 or 18, and he's spray painting the side of the sunshine autoshop. Can someone come tell him off?" A man spoke gruffly over the phone, his voice irritated.
"Of course, sir. We'll have someone out there right away. Thanks for your call." The woman hung up before yelling down the hall, "Novak! I think your artist is at it again. The Sunshine garage." Officer Novak walked past her, "got it, thank you." He once again got in his car to go face his so-called 'artist.'
As he pulled up to the garage, he noticed Dean had already seen his car and was leaned up against the side of the building, waiting for him. "Hello again. Dean, was it?" Officer Novak stood in front of him. "Aww, you remember me, officer Novak." Dean had a sort of flirtatious tone to his voice.
"Alright, well... I gave you a warning. You ignored it. So i gotta take you in. Come on. Hands behind your back." Officer Novak pulled out his hand cuffs. "Ooh kinky, I like being all tied up, how'd you know?" Dean laughed after he spoke, leaning over the patrol car. Officer Novak couldn't help but check him out as he was leaned over, causing him to blush as he realized how nice Deans butt looked in his jeans.
The whole car ride, Dean was happily singing to himself in the back seat. Officer Novak had to admit, Dean did have a really nice singing voice.
After they got to the station, Officer Novak brought Dean into his office, sitting him down in the chair across from his. "Full name?" Dean looked around, "Dean Winchester." The officer wrote down his name before asking the rest of his questions, "birth date? Parents' names? Phone number? Address?" Dean answered all the questions with zero hesitation or resistance.
"You have a nice office, you know that? The decorations are great, and they really bring life to the room." Dean smiled, looking back at Officer Novak. "You're handsome too." This stopped the officer in his tracks as he looked up at Dean. "Thank you. Anyways, why are you vandalizing buildings? For attention? Cause you want trouble? Or do you just not care?"
"I don't want trouble, I just want people to see my art. How old are you?" Dean answered truthfully. "I'm 24. Why don't you do art on your own property or on a canvas or paper?" The officer asked, also answering Deans question. "Because it doesn't flow as well on small surfaces, it's easier to get into it on big surfaces. Also, I already painted all over my house. There's no more space. Are you single?" Dean asked another question. He thought it was only fair that he gets to ask questions, too.
"I am single. Why do you think it's ok to paint on other properties after you've filled yours up?" Officer Novak tried to ignore the meaning of the questions, but he ultimately knew where it would lead.
"I thought people would like to see since it looks so good, a lot of people love it. I'm 20, you're 24... maybe we could go out sometime?" Dean tried his best to ask casually, but he was getting anxious at the thought of the officer saying no.
Officer Novak looked up at Dean, his eyebrows raised. "Are you trying to ask me out?" He cocked his head slightly in confusion and interest.
"Maybe I am. What do you say? Let me out of these cuffs, and I'll take you out." Dean held his hands out with the cuffs still tying his hands together.
"I'll go out with you if you stop vandalizing public property." Officer Novak leaned forward towards Dean, holding his hand out to unlock the cuffs.
"Deal." Dean replied smugly as Officer Novak unlocked his cuffs. "You know where I live. Come pick me up at 8, I'll pay." Dean winked as he left the police station.
'What have I gotten myself into?' Officer Novak thought.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~At 8~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Officer Novak pulled up to Deans house and waited for him to walk out. As Dean walked out, the officers mouth dropped wide open at how well dressed he was, suit and tie, hair put together. He looked great.
Dean got in the from seat of the car. It wasn't a police car this time. It was a basic shiny grey Honda. "Your suit looks nice, I like your car too, officer." Dean said, looking around the interior of the car. "Call me Cas." Cas said, smiling at Dean as he drove to a nice restaurant.
During their dinner, they got to know each other pretty well. They learned about eachothers liked and dislikes, families, home life, favorite things.
And Dean promised to stop vandalizing public property... until he landed in the police station again a month later.
