Ollies pov-

I'm playing games on my computer when I hear a knock on the door. "He got here quickly," I thought to myself. I open the door to find a tiny girl out of breath. She has short shoulder length brown hair with bangs, a small face, and emerald green eyes. "Um, I think you might have the wrong apartment." I said in confusion. "I don't think so, this is apartment 332 right?". She spoke in a soft high pitched voice. "Well yeah, who are you?" I question. "My name is Alex, I applied to be your roommate." she replied almost as a question. My eyes widen with confusion and shock. " Wait Alex... You're Alex... I wasn't expecting a.... Girl" my voice falls off on the last word. "Oh um yeah... my real name is Alexandra but I go by Alex." he stares blankly at her before replying. "Yeah I don't think this is going to work out, you'll have to look for a different place." I said absolutely not wanting to room with a girl. "Wait, no please, I've already looked, there's nothing else available right now, since college started back, everything's taken." she said almost in a panic. " That sounds like a you problem. Figure it out. I don't want to room with a girl." I retorted, kind of irritated. " Please, I'll do anything. I can cook, clean and wash your clothes. '' she practically begged. "It does sound kind of nice to not have to do anything around the house." I say more to myself than to her. I think for a minute. "Fine, but don't get in my way" I said kind of harshly. I open the door wider to allow her to come in. As she walked past the door I noticed she doesn't have anything besides a backpack. " Where's all of your stuff?" I question curiously. "Right here" she said pointing to the backpack. I pause for a moment. "That's all you have! no bed, no books or any furniture?" I question further. "Nope this is it" she said looking kind of embarrassed. "Whatever, you're sleeping on the couch." I replied, rolling my eyes and walking to the kitchen to grab her key to the apartment. "Here" I said as I underhand threw the keys to her. She reaches for the keys but misses and they fall on the floor. I chuckled at her "wow you really can't catch. She just stands there for a moment. It was about a minute before she decided to pick the keys up off the floor. "She's really weird" I thought to myself before deciding to just leave her alone and go to my room. I left her in the living room and shut my door behind me going back to playing my game.

Alex's POV-

"He really just left me here, no tour or anything." I thought to myself. Left with my thoughts I try to figure out what I should do next. Deciding to walk around and look at the house myself. I start in the kitchen going to the bathroom next. All that's left would be the room. I really don't feel like talking to him though. Deciding not to disturb him further than I already have, I walk back to the living room looking around to find the laundry room. Unable to find it myself, I have no choice but to ask where it is. Walking nervously to the bedroom, I knock hesitantly. I wait a moment but there's no answer, so I knock once more. Still no answer. I slowly open the door to see he's just playing games on his computer. I walk up to him and wait for him to notice me, with no luck. I decide to take a headphone off his ear to try and get his attention. He jumped back in his chair grabbing his headphones and putting them around his neck, looking up at me. "You fucking scared me, what do you want" he said angrily. "I didn't mean to scare you, I knocked and everything." I argued back. He sat there looking at me as if I was an idiot. " I was trying to find the laundry room but couldn't, where is it?" I asked impatiently and annoyed at this point. "Are you dumb" he replied nonchalantly. I was taken aback by his statement. "So you didn't have a washer and dryer at home?." he asked rudely. "I did ... what does that have to do with anything, I'm just asking where yours is." he gets up and walks to the balcony doors and walks outside without a word and pointing to the left. I walk out and look. The washing machines are outside.... He points up at a wire around the balcony. "This is a clothesline in case you didn't know that either". He said as he looked at me with a smug face. I roll my eyes not wanting to show he gets under my skin. "How can someone so good looking be such a dick" I thought to myself. "Whatever it's already late, I'm just going to go to bed." I said I was extremely frustrated at this point. "Do what you want" he replied and went back to his room. I'm pretty sure I heard him lock it. I lay down on the couch not even wanting to ask him for a blanket or pillow. I get lost in thought for what felt like hours before finally drifting off to sleep.
