"You are alive..."

Allegra froze as she heard those words, recognizing the familiar voice instantly. "Get the fuck out of my head," she sneered, her back still turned to the source of the voice.

"What? Allie, it's me, Elijah," Elijah said, confusion evident in his tone.

Allegra turned around, her body shaking with a mix of rage and fear. "GET OUT OF MY FUCKING HEAD!"

The scene around them erupted into chaos. The small wooden house was suddenly engulfed in flames, the heat intense and suffocating. Yet, as the flames licked at her skin, Allegra felt nothing but a chilling cold. She locked eyes with Elijah, his face a mask of confusion and hurt. The firelight flickered, casting eerie shadows across his features, making the scene feel even more surreal.

At that moment, everything shattered. The flames roared louder, consuming the wooden structure, and the floor beneath Allegra seemed to dissolve. She felt herself falling into an abyss, Elijah's pained expression the last thing she saw before everything went dark.

Allegra jolted upright in bed, gasping for breath. Cold sweat drenched her, making her nightgown cling to her skin. Her heart raced, each beat a painful reminder of the vivid nightmare she had just experienced. She looked around her room, the familiar surroundings of the Mikaelson house slowly grounding her in reality.

One thought ran through her mind, clear and alarming: someone took the bloody dagger out of Elijah's chest.

"Right on time," Allegra hummed as Klaus appeared in the living room, Sophie beside him.

Klaus turned to Sophie, his face alive with rage. "We had a deal! You protect my unborn child, I dismantle Marcel's army. And while I've been busy fulfilling my part of the bargain, you allowed Hayley to be attacked and almost killed by a gaggle of lunatic witches."

"And one of them shot me and Rebekah in the heart. That very much did hurt," Allegra added, her tone sharp.

Sophie shook her head frantically. "I had nothing to do with it, I swear. Hayley, Allegra, and I are all linked, remember? She dies, we die."

"Then who were they?" Rebekah asked, her voice cold.

"They are a faction of extremists. Sabine stupidly told them about some vision she had about the baby," Sophie explained, her eyes darting between the vampires.

Allegra perked up. "What kind of vision?"

"She has them all the time. They are open to interpretation. I'm guessing she's wrong on this one," Sophie said, her voice tinged with desperation.

"Well, how, may I ask, was this particular vision interpreted?" Klaus asked, his voice dangerously calm.

Sophie paused, looking nervously at the three Mikaelsons. "...Pretty much that your baby would bring death to all witches."

Klaus let a sly smirk grow on his face. "Ah, well. I grow fonder of this child by the second."

"Same here, Niky," Allegra agreed, a proud smile on her face.

Rebekah sighed, turning to Sophie. "Sophie, look-- I promised Elijah that I would protect the Mikaelson miracle baby while he tries to win your witch Davina's loyalty. Why don't you tell me just how extreme this faction is?"

"Elijah's talking to Davina?" Sophie asked, her face completely shocked.

Rebekah nodded. "Yeah. As we speak, I imagine."

"I'm guessing she'll have plenty to say about that crowd," Allegra said.

"I... wasn't always an advocate for the witches," Sophie began.
