"(y/n), eat your food, it's gonna get cold," johnny says, already halfway done with his plate.

i shake my head. "i don't want it!"

"baby, you just said that you were hungry."

i huff. "i don't want it!"

johnny sighs. "then what do you want?"

"nuggies."

he sets his fork down on his plate. he gets up and squats down. "listen,  sweetheart, daddy's getting a little tired of chicken nuggets. we've had nuggies for dinner for the past three days. plus, you love spaghetti, don't you?"

i try not to be offended by his outrageous statement, but i guess he's right. i whine nonetheless.

"eat a couple bites if you aren't hungry," he instructs. "then, it's nap time."

"no! i don't want a stupid nap!"

"listen, little girl, i'm getting very tired of your attitude. daddy has been so patient with you, and if you wanna be a brat, then you can suffer the consequences. would you like a time out on top of that nap?"

i huff. i want fucking chicken nuggets, not a nap.

"fine," i mumble, finally taking a bite of my food.

he kisses the top of my head. "good girl," he says before sitting back down in his chair.

after dinner, he takes me into the bedroom. 

"pleeeease don't make me."

"well, you should've thought about that before you caught an attitude. Thirty minutes. I'll be back," he says, tucking me in, and kissing me on the cheek. he switches off the light and walks out.

he comes into the room and switches the light back on. "okay, baby. time's up." 

i get out of bed and he wraps his arms around me, picking me up. i laugh.

"what would you like to do, little love?"

"hmmm," i think for a second. "color!"

he chuckles. "okay, baby, i'll color with you.
