The day of the spring festival dawned bright and clear, the cherry blossoms fluttering in the gentle breeze. The entire school was abuzz with excitement, each student eager to see the fruits of their labor showcased. Stalls lined the courtyard, and the aroma of delicious food filled the air. Laughter and chatter echoed through the halls as students made final preparations.

Haruto stood by the soccer field, his eyes scanning the crowd. He spotted Miyu and Rin talking animatedly near the drama club's stall. Their friendly rivalry had only intensified, each girl determined to outshine the other.

"Miyu, you've really outdone yourself with the play's setup," Rin remarked, her tone half-admiring, half-competitive.

"Thanks, Rin. But I think your costume designs are what will really make the play stand out," Miyu replied, her eyes sparkling with determination.

Haruto approached them with a grin. "You two ready to steal the show tonight?"

Miyu's face lit up. "Absolutely! This is going to be the best performance Sakura High has ever seen."

Rin nodded, her eyes meeting Haruto's. "We've put our hearts into this. I hope everyone loves it."

As Haruto chatted with Miyu and Rin, Kenji and Daichi were busy setting up the art exhibit. Daichi couldn't help but steal glances at Sora, who was meticulously arranging her paintings. Her talent had always amazed him, and today, he hoped she would finally see how much he cared.

"Hey, Sora," Kenji called out, trying to keep his voice casual. "I've been looking forward to seeing your new piece. You've got everyone excited."

Sora blushed slightly, her eyes softening. "Thanks, Kenji. I just hope it lives up to expectations."

Daichi joined them, his heart pounding. "It's more than just a painting, Sora. It's a piece of you. And that's what makes it special."

Sora smiled, touched by his words. "You're both too kind. I just want people to feel something when they see it."

Meanwhile, Yuki observed the interactions from a distance, his heart heavy with unspoken feelings. He admired Sora deeply but couldn't bring himself to express it. The fear of complicating their friendship kept him silent.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the courtyard, the excitement reached a fever pitch. The spring festival was in full swing, and the time for the much-anticipated drama club's play drew near.

Backstage, Miyu and Rin made final adjustments to the set, their rivalry momentarily set aside as they worked towards a common goal. Haruto stood by, offering support and encouragement.
