Lamine (POV)
Finally it's Wednesday, my PowerPoint is ready to show with a new plan.I was nervous as this is the first project I got so I have to show my best.Though my team member they helped me a lot in it.
We all went to the meeting room, I set up the projector and was waiting for everyone.
It's 10'o clock, Mack, Ms. Nora, Femisa, Dilip, Jewel and threw board members were in the room

Mack: Are you ready?
Lamine: Yes sir
Mack: Start
Then I started with the details and new technique of the car
Lamine: My team and I came up with a robotic-style car. This car will feature modern engines, advanced features, and reduced chances of damage. The integrated robotic system will provide alerts before potential issues arise. To build a robust robotic car, start with thorough research on the latest automotive and robotic technologies. And here is the design of a blueprint that incorporates advanced sensors, durable materials, and efficient power sources. Integrate a sophisticated AI system capable of real-time diagnostics and predictive maintenance.
Mack: Lamine and team, Do you think adding these features can gain the popularity of the car?
Lamine and team: Yes
Mack: Before I give my decision, does anyone has anything to say?
Ms. Nora: No sir, I think it's fine.
Board member 1: I think this will make a huge profit as we are bringing a robotic car.
Mack: I like the concept of robust car but I want you all to work on making the engine, this time I don't want any loss.
Lamine: We ensure you sir, We will give our best.
Meeting got over everyone were happy Mack was sitting on the chair and stared at me, everyone left the room I was fixing the rest and was about to go out of the room.I knew Mack was there,so before leaving I turned back and looked at him
Lamine: Sir, you will not leave?
He stood up and came towards me

Mack said, "Well done! I'm glad you came up with this brilliant idea. I saw potential in you, so I gave you the chance to work on it, and you did it."

After saying this, he patted me on the head, and I felt numb for a while. He smiled at me and left the room. I was still standing there, wondering why his praise made me so happy and why his touch brought me such peace. I was surrounded by confusion.

Next, we all started working on the project. Everyone got so busy over the past few days that I hadn't seen Mack. My eyes were always looking for him, but the pressure of the new project kept me away from him.

After two weeks, I finally felt a little relaxed as our robust plan was almost ready. We could test it tomorrow. I was working late at the office, making sure everything would go perfectly for the test.

Suddenly, Mack was standing behind me. I didn't notice him until he put his hand on my shoulder. Startled, I turned around and saw Mack standing there. I quickly removed his hand and stood up, which seemed to shock him a bit.

Lamine: Sir? You are here at this hour?
Mack: Yes, this is my office so I think I can be here... Isin't
Lamine: Yeah... I mean you didn't went home yet? No one is here at the office
Mack; Yeah I had meeting so went long to finish. So you are done with your work?
Lamine; Almost, just I was giving final check
Mack: You can do it have faith in yourself. Anyways, I think you didn't have your dinner. So can we grab some food?
Lamine: Thanks but still I have little data to recheck a.. a ..nd.

He didn't listen to my full sentence. He closed the laptop, grabbed my hand, and took me to the basement where his car was parked. The whole time, he didn't let go of my hand, as if he thought I would run away. Then, he opened the car door for me and made me sit inside. He started the car and drove to the open restaurant in front of our old school. We sat together for dinner. He ordered fried rice with chicken liver and a Coke, and I ordered plain rice with chicken curry and water.

Lamine: You eat fried rice with liver? That's kind of weird."

Mack: "I love it. When I was young, my mom..." (There was a huge silence after he mentioned his mom.)

Lamine: Hmm, it feels good to see our old school.

Mack: "Hmm, finally they made some changes. Hmm, Lamine..."

Lamine: "Hmm?"

Mack:Why didn't you say anything when you returned my ID card?

Out of the blue, I didn't expect him to ask this question. My eyes were deeply looking into his, and I was completely silent, unable to say any words. Suddenly, the rain started, and we looked for a place to take shelter as people at the restaurant were scurrying around. We stood under the shade and laughed, looking at each other.

Mack: Sorry! The rain ruined the dinner.

Lamine: (smiling) "I love the rain."

We looked at each other with a certain attraction. Then I shyly moved my eyes away.

Mack:Let's go to my car.

We both ran toward the car and sat inside. The rain was heavy, so he took me to his home since mine was far away and I was completely soaked.

Wow! His home is beautiful, with a perfect interior that matches his high standards. The sofa, kitchen, and other furnishings are in shades of lavender and white, creating a stunning and cohesive look. I am literally in love with the decor. His room is different, huge balcony, a sofa beside the lavender lamp, with a big, wide bed covered in a lavender bedsheet, and the space is filled with his intoxicating scent that could make anyone fall for him.

He lent me his clothes and a towel. After taking a bath, I came out.

I saw Mack, and he looked incredibly handsome with his wet hair and a black bathrobe, his chest partly visible, which made me feel butterflies in my heart. He was holding two cups of coffee.

Mack:Sit on the sofa, drink coffee, and you'll feel better.

I sat on the sofa, drying my hair. Mack took the towel from me and started to dry my hair himself. He was sitting so close that I felt both nervous and happy at the same time.

Mack: "Beautiful."

Lamine: Huh?"I turned back when he said "beautiful."
Our faces were incredibly close. He repeated, Beautiful.

Lamine: "Hmm?"

Mack: Your mole behind your ear is beautiful, he said, gently touching the spot behind my ear.

I closed my eyes, feeling the warmth of his touch. I could hear his heartbeat speeding up, and mine was racing even faster.

Mack: Your eyes are so intoxicating that anyone could fall for them," he said, softly touching my eyes with his thumb, making me more restless.

Mack: Your face is very soft,he continued, caressing my cheeks with both hands.

Then, he touched my lips with his thumb and gazed into my eyes. Our faces drew closer, and I held onto his bathrobe tightly. We were so close that only an inch separated our lips. He gently held the back of my head, and our lips brushed lightly. My eyes closed, and I felt numb, experiencing the sensation of someone's lips on mine for the first time. Just as he was about to kiss me, my phone rang.

We broke our kiss and came to our senses. I looked for my phone, which was on the table. He glared at it. I picked it up and went to the balcony. He stared at me from the living room, looking a bit upset that our kiss had been interrupted by a call from a girl. It was Ziva. I told her I was at the office working on a new project and ended the call as quickly as possible.

When I went back inside, he was no longer in the living room. My eyes searched for him, and after a while, he returned with a pillow and blanket, placing them on the sofa.

"Lamine," he said, "don't call me 'sir' when we're alone. You can call me by my name."

"But how can I? You're my boss, and I'm your employee. You were also my senior in school."

He came closer, whispered in my ear, and said, "Then call me 'senior.'"

I smiled at him.

I made your bed in my room. You can sleep there. You can sleep in your bed. I'll sleep on the sofa," I said, sitting on the sofa to make my point. We had a small quarrel about who would sleep where, and finally, we decided he would stay in his room, and I would sleep on the sofa.
This is how we spent a rainy night together.
