AJ is a Dominican nurse that came to the U.S when she was 21. Nothing has been easy for her to learn. She lives with grandparents since her parents died when she was born.

AJ- I don't like night shift some shit always happens in these shifts

Camilla - you're not wrong.

Dave - can I get an experienced nurse please

AJ- I am experienced

Dave - you look fairly young

AJ- I get that a lot. I'm nurse AJ, I'm a practitioner nurse. Could you tell me your name

AJ - It looks like you cut yourself really deep there

Dave - yeah Harlem ain't the safest at night

AJ- you'll need to get some stitches. I'll just give you some morphine for the pain.

Dave - okay thanks

Camilla - I'll take back what I said he kinda fine

AJ- he's arrogant

Camilla - what do you mean

AJ- he told me to go get a real nurse

Camilla- ahh you do look young

AJ- your not helping

Camilla - sorry you want me to take over

AJ - I got it

She went back with the equipment that she needs to stitch Dave

AJ- alright mr Brewster I'm going to numb the area so you won't feel it okay

David - okay

AJ stitched him up and cleaned him up.

AJ - After the first 24 to 48 hours, wash around the cut with clean water 2 times a day. Don't use hydrogen peroxide or alcohol, which can slow healing. You may cover the cut with a thin layer of petroleum jelly, such as Vaseline, and a non-stick bandage. Apply more petroleum jelly and replace the bandage as needed. Okay

Dave - yes nurse AJ

Nurse - I'll bring your discharge papers so you can be free to go.

He nodded. Once she got them and handed him the papers he was free to go.

Dave - thank you nurse

AJ - oh and mr Brewster take it easy with that arm okay so it heal easier as well okay

Dave - will do. Thank you nurse
