Carla - Dave
Dave - yes mom
Carla - could you help the nice couple two houses down they need help with some heavy lifting and to fix a few things around there house
Dave - okay
He went and he knocked on the door
Maria - hey cariño
Dave - hey grandma Maria. My mom said that you guys need some help around the house
Maria - yes we not as young as you to be doing heavy lifting
Dave - it's okay just let me know what you need help with.
An hour later AJ got home from her 12 hour shift. She looked defeated.
AJ - abuela abuelo I'm home
Daniel- Mi amor, pareces derrotado
AJ - Porque lo estoy. Estoy agradecido de haber tenido la semana libre
Daniel - the young man is here
She looked at him confused
AJ - what young man
She looked in the garden and it was Dave and her grandma. Talking while's he was mowing the lawn
AJ - hey guys
She gave her grandma a hug
Carla - you look tired cariño
AJ - nothing I can't handle. I was gonna do this
Dave - I don't mind helping you guys out.
AJ - oh okay, thank you.
Dave - plus your grandma said she's cooking I'm always down for some food.
They both chuckled. She went to go shower and a change of clothes
She helped her grandma in the kitchen. Once Dave was finished with the things that they needed help with. He went to the kitchen.
Dave - hey, I've finished with the small errands that's you guys needed
Maria - thank you. Are you hungry
Dave - yes ma'am
Maria - serve him a plate
She nodded and did what she was told
Maria- Tu abuelo y yo vamos a nuestra cita, no vamos a pasar mucho tiempo
AJ - okay.
Maria - más tarde, mi amor
She kissed her cheek and left.
Dave - Where they going
AJ - They are going on a date.
Dave- I'm trying to be like your grandparents
AJ smiled. She finished serving his plate
AJ - here you go
Dave - thank you
AJ - no problem.
Once they finished eating they washed up and cleaned the kitchen.
AJ - thank you for helping my grandparents while's I'm not home. My work schedule are a bit crazy and they can't get a hold of me.
Dave - it's all cool I'll leave my number with them so that they can have an easier way of reaching out to me
She smiled
