Chapter 5: Powered up

I said," true". I removed a key off the keyring I had and gave it to ashanti. Ashanti looked at it. I said," we own a brand new equinox. Ashanti said," awesome love thanks". Trinity said why don't u take Ashanti with u or maybe a kid". I said," I can". Marcus said," it be perfect to bond with them". I saw the kids coloring. Ashanti said," take Jessica with u, Thomas and Madison will be fine". I said," okay baby". Sylvia said," don't forget Hun when I come back we hangout before we work". I said," okay love". I then stretched. Ashanti said," enjoy it". I then listened and watched our children playing till 3. I then stood up and said," Jessica would u like to go for a ride with daddy?" Jessica said," okay daddy can mommy and sis and bro come to". Ashanti said," no u and daddy so u can bond more to". Jessica stood up and said," okay daddy". We said bye as we walked to the front door. I unlocked it then opened it and walked out with Jessica. I saw Sylvia shut the front door. I then unlocked the equinox. I opened the back door behind me. I saw Jessica get in. I shut the door. I opened up my driver's door and got in and shut the door. I buckled up. I saw Jessica strap in. I started the engine. I put the shops address into my telephone and put GPS on. I then drove off. I then approached my new shop and parked on the lot. I saw the electrician truck pull in at 4. I turned off the engine. I unbuckled and opened my door and got out. I opened up the back left door and saw Jessica get out. I shut the door. I locked the equinox. Me and Jessica saw a separate bay then a main shop with 4 bays atached. I then unlocked the shops front door. I heard Jessica follow me. I opened the shops front door we walked in. Me and jessica saw offices and a bathroom. Jessica said," I love it daddy". We saw the electrician power off her van and open her door and get out the van then shut her door and open the side door. We waited patiently while she grabbed her gear then shut the side door of the van and then opened my shop door. We said," hi to each other and I introduced my daughter Jessica to her. The electrician said," hey", nice place u brought here mr. Hawkins um what u plan on doing with this? as we saw her walk and open the circuit breaker box. I said," I plan on working on collision vehicles ". The electrician looked at us and said," nice I will need to stop by for a card after u open in case I need u to work on my personal truck", as she shut the circuit box. We saw her walk and test the outlets. The electrician then said," u got power now, ill go write up ur bill". I said," okay"? The electrician then placed her bag on her and walked off. I then walked out the shop with Jessica. I shut the door and locked it. Me and Jessica then walked with the electrician to her van. We saw her unlock it and open the side door and put all the gear in then shut the door and open her drivers door. We waited patiently. The electrician then told me the bill. I paid her. I then walked with Jessica to the equinox. I unlocked it and opened Jessica's door. Jessica got in. I opened my door and got in then shut the door. I started the engine and called Ashanti. Ashanti answered. I asked her if their was anything I needed to pick up for dinner. I heard Ashanti say," I'll ask mom and dad". I then waited. I heard her say to me," nope where good thank u". I said," your welcome where on the way back". I then drove off. I drove to Ashanti's house. I parked the equinox and turned off the engine. Me and Jessica opened the doors and got out then shut the doors. I locked the equinox. I saw the front door open. Me and Jessica walked in. I shut the front door and locked it then entered the living room. I saw Trinity, Marcus and Maddie sitting there. Trinity said," ur girlfriend took the children upstairs". We saw Jessica walk off I said," well shop is powered up, I just need to do plumbing , get parts, install furniture in and then supplies and we can open". Maddie said," Tyler I'm glad u are going to be here more and help more". I said," thank u very much". Marcus said," so what else on ur agenda today Tyler?" I said," nothing really I'm free till 10am tomorrow even after that I'm free". Marcus said," okay um did u wanna stay here tonight I mean Sylvia will come back here to hangout then they go to work but Jessica, Madison and Thomas be here if u wanna bond more". I said," sure I can then I'll go home tomorrow morning and change and head out". Marcus said," okay good". Thats when my cell rang. I looked at it and answered it. I then stood up and walked off a bit. I spoke to my friend and then hung up. I then walked back in and sat down. I said," that was my friend I gotta tow his wrecked car to a shop I would tow it to mines. Marcus looked and said," why don't u do that indeed". I looked and said," yeah". I then said," it will be better".
