Complicated Love

Chapter 3: Confession

Tess groaned as she snapped out of her thoughts, she couldnt focus on anything else but that weird dream..

Again she snapped out of thoughts when someone came bursting into her hut

Newt

He looked at her, not full of hate, more lovingly and admiring. Tess raised an eyebrow in confusion "You good buddy? You stormed into my hut without even knocking" She commented. Newt sighed "I know... But I need to tell you something" Tess squinted her eyes and then shrugged "Shoot" Newt sat on the other side of her bed. He began to speak "Tess.. Look.. I've been thinking about you a lot lately.. But not about how stupid you are. But.. In a good way" He sighed "Look what I'm trying to say is, I love you.. More then anything.. And if you need time to adjust to that, thats fine... I just needed it off my heart.." He stood up and began to walk off. "Wait" Tess said, she was all flustered and blushing, Newt stopped and turned to her. "I've been.. Thinking different about you also..." She gulped, slightly smiling. Newt sighed in relief and walked closer to her, now only inches apart, He looked down at her, due to her length. She wasn't very tall and he was. Tess looked up at him, still blushing. Newt reached a hand to her cheek and stroked it with his thumb. "You're actually.. Very beautiful.. You know?" Tess giggled a bit "I know now.." Newt slowly picked her up, wrapping her legs around his waist, so he could reach better. He leaned in and kissed her gently, Tess responded and kissed back, Newt deepened the kiss a bit,still being gentle with her, playing around with her tongue. After several moments he pulled back and put her down again. Cupped her cheek in his hand "I love you.." He whispered "I love you to.." She replied. He smiled and led her to her bed. Both laying down and Tess cuddled up with Newt and they fell asleep.
