"What do you think about this dress?" She held the beige colored gown that stopped a few inches above her knee with an off shoulder collar in front of herself. Akin sat on the bed acting as the judge.

"The color is boring, and it looks like something you'd wear to church. Can you increase the volume on the audio? Whatever they're saying is piquing my interest."

She rolled her eyes but did as he said. "God is a happy God, my people. He is not an angry man. A lot of people have this picture of him in their minds as the big guy in the sky holding lightning bolts, frowning, raining curses and bringing fire upon us when he's actually the opposite of that. It's in your sinful nature that you begin to create this image, and honestly it's something inculcated in us during childhood to get kids to behave."

"Who is this guy?" Asked Akin.

"Pastor Evans. I love all his sermons because when I think I know something he comes and opens my mind further." Naomi picked out a pair of baby blue boyfriend jeans. "What of this? Ezra said to dress casual according to his text and this jean brings out my shape. I like the way it's baggy on me and so long. It's cute."

"I thought church girls reserve their bodies for their husbands. Bring out your shape ke. Be careful o, Chidinma." Akin jokes.

"That's not... just keep quiet let me know what I'm doing here."

He zipped his mouth shut and locked it with the invisible key.

"Better."

"God likes pleasure more than us if you don't know. These things were made as a reflection of certain realities. To sit at the right side of God is to experience his pleasure. Do you know that Blessed actually means Happy? All the work Jesus did licensed him to walk into the joy of the Lord, he wants the same for us. There is a joy awaiting us if we just work for it. Your perception of the Lord can cost you eternal values o. May God give you understanding."

"Amen." Both Akin and Naomi said.

"I like that purple top, wear that one."

"But the sleeve is long. When the sun starts shining in full force I'll start sweating a lot. I want something that won't make me look like a pregnant fish."

"Someone of the genes of God is supposed to enjoy the pleasures of God. This is his heart for us. Adam was in the pleasure of God, an ecstacy, trance. They didn't realize they were naked because they were in a trance. The happenings in the garden of Eden was going on much more in his inner man than his surroundings. Remember when Scripture talks about Mary sitting at the Lord's feet. That's very beautiful because it shows that she realized the kind of pleasure she could get by just being in his presence. I implore all of us, and those listening to get rid of that angry God image in our mind. No matter who you are, so far as God loves and is love he wants us to come and experience the pleasures that are in store with him."

"It's funny how I have had this angry God image throughout my childhood. In fact he was a wicked God in my mind because he watched as people suffered and did nothing."

"Human free will. Always remember God gave man free will and that's what causes the actions of people which creates consequences. His goodness is in when he comes to help us out of those circumstances when we call upon him."
