It's been two weeks since Donny and I talked, and I've been keeping myself busy with interviews. I was featured on Boy Abunda's show last Thursday, and I was not surprised when he asked about me and Donny.
FLASHBACK:
Boy Abunda: "Kisses, there have been many rumors about you and Donny. Can you tell us more about your recent meeting?"
Kisses: "Well, Tito Boy, Donny and I met recently to talk and find closure. It was a necessary conversation for both of us."
Boy Abunda: "How did it go? Are you two on good terms now?"
Kisses: "Yes, Tito Boy. We are on good terms. We had an open and honest conversation about our past and our feelings. It was important for us to clear the air and move forward."
Boy Abunda: "Are there any chances of reconciliation, or is it purely closure?"
Kisses: "We both agreed that closure was necessary. As much as we care for each other, we have our own paths to follow now. I'm focusing on my career and personal growth, and so is he."
Boy Abunda: "Many fans are curious if there is still a chance for a romantic relationship between you two in the future. What can you say about that?"
Kisses: "You never know what the future holds, Tito Boy. But for now, we are both content with where we are. We want to support each other from a distance and focus on our individual goals."
After the interview, I received a lot of messages from fans expressing their support and understanding. It felt good to finally address the issue publicly and clarify where Donny and I stand.
As the days passed, I immersed myself in work, attending events, and meeting with my team to discuss some projects. Despite the busy schedule, I often found myself thinking about our conversation. It was a important moment that helped me find peace and closure.
One evening, while I was preparing for another interview, I received a text from an unknown number.
Unknown Number: "Hey, it's Donny. I watched your interview with Tito Boy. I'm glad we talked. Take care."
I smiled, feeling a sense of calm wash over me. I replied.
Kisses: "Thank you, Donny. I appreciate it. Take care too."
Putting my phone away, I took a deep breath and focused on the present. Life goes on, and so do we. Each day is a new opportunity to grow, learn, and embrace the future with an open heart.
Ate Sue has been bugging me these past few days to join them on a trip to Boracay. I'm really considering it because Donny and I are already on good terms, and I've also been thinking about settling in Masbate. I think this trip will really help me decide.
I was eating my breakfast when my phone buzzed again. It was a message from Ate Sue.
Sue: "Kisses! Sumama ka na sa amin sa Boracay. It will be fun, promise! You need a break. 😘"
I sighed and thought about it. Ate Sue had a point. A getaway might be what I need to clear my mind and make a final decision about my plans.
Kisses: "Sige na nga, Ate. Count me in. 😅"
Sue: "Yay! I'm so excited! We'll have a blast. Pack your bags, and I'll send you the details. See you soon! ❤️"
