Hermione sat with everyone for lunch, Ron and Harry were to her left, Ginny was on her right and the twins were opposite her, more specifically Fred. Everyone started eating their food and drinking, the adults starting on the wine already, I mean Remus had been saving it for a special occasion.

Hermione overheard Sirius and Remus talking to each other as they looked out over their friends and the family they had created,

"I'm proud of you Moony, it's nice to see you out"

"It's nice to be out, that apartment wasn't doing me good...never thought I'd be able to say this, but I miss having a bit of chaos in my life"

"What if- what if I moved in? You can say no of course! But, you wouldn't be alone. You'd have all the chaos you'd like, and we both know I'm a better chef then you so you wouldn't come home to an empty plate"

"I'd like that actually, was hard seeing you go to Azkaban..."

"Hard seeing me go? Try being the one going, and having your psychotic cousin for a cell mate"

"Gods I can't imagine what she would've been like"

"Terrible. It was always "dark lord this" or "dark lord that" I swear to Godric she would go down on that man"

"Ew stop, absolutely did not need to hear that! It's Christmas come on, back to the happy conversations"

Hermione smiled, if the two of them were moving in together that would mean Harry would most likely get more visits or have a definitive place to visit, instead of him and Sirius having to talk through fireplaces or by owl.

Hermione's attention was focused on something else when she noticed Fred get up and go inside, Hermione remembered she had bought Fred a separate gift and hadn't given it to him yet so she got up and followed him in.

Fred was looking through his drawers, he couldn't find Hermione's gift and was hoping to give it to her outside after lunch. Suddenly Fred heard a knock on his door and saw Hermione standing there with a little red box.

"Hey Granger"

Hermione walked in and closed the door behind her, she came and sat on Fred's bed, waiting for him to join her. He sat down and looked at the little box in her lap,

"For me? Or just showing off?"

"Bit of both" Hermione smiled, she handed Fred the box and when he opened it he looked at Hermione with the most excited smile. Fred took the necklace out of the box and looked at the pendent that hung on it, it was an 'F' encased in a square but the texture the 'F' was made of, Hermione had made it like little firework explosions.

"Mione..."

"It gets better, rub your finger over it" Hermione smiled at his excitement, it had taken her so long to perfect the spell and make the little firework textures realistic.

Fred rubbed his thumb over the pendant and smiled even more when it lit up a vibrant orange, like the Weasley fireworks he had thrown up into the sky so many times over the years.

"Granger, I love it. I don't know what to say"

"A thank you will suffice, I figured I should get you something special for Christmas if your birthday present is going to be the same as George's"

Fred paused for a moment, "did you get George something for Christmas as well?"

Hermione avoided eye contact with Fred, "no" she felt a little bad but at the same time she knew George would've had a field day with what was happening right now.

Fred smiled, "so this is my special gift then?" he hung the chain around his neck and watched it fall down onto his chest. The necklace was visible as he had his first couple of buttons undone so there was no hiding his new gift from anyone.
