Getting Away

Shona's P.O.V:
After Tom said that they're adopting me, I ran up and literally jumped on him. He only just kept his balance.. Oops. Anyway after that I grabbed Gi's hand and dragged her all the way upstairs into my tatty little room to help me pack all my stuff.
"Shona?"
"Yeah"
"How do you feel about being adopted by us? I mean it's going to be very different from living here."
"Gi, I'm so excited I can't wait to leave, I hate it here Anastasia is so horrible to me.. She's always hated me and finally I'm getting away"
"That's good then, because you know Tom, Buzz, and I will change your life in a good way"
"You already have" I whisper under my breath.

Tom's P.O.V:
I'm so happy were adopting Shona, this is a really big thing for me and Gi. Also for Buzz, he's got a big sister to look after him. I can't wait to just take her home and change her life for ever.

*car journey home*
"Um Tom" I hear Shona say from the back of the car.
"Yeah sweetie"
"Please can you put some of your songs on" she asks.
"Mine as in McFly songs?" I ask curiously.
"Obviously, who else would I want to listen to except you and Busted"
"I love this child" i say to Giovanna.
