Two fearsome children with eyes of a seasoned fighter walked together in the middle of the Beast glades as the sun on the horizon finally went up and shined upon their figures.

The taller of the two is Arthur, his jet black hair didn't reflect any light that the sun had shined. While the other is Seryn, her white hair shined like a marble as the rays of the sun made contact with it.

Between the two is Sylvie, holding each one of the duo's hands. She keeps humming and singing, and even tries to raise her feet and hang in the air using both Arthur and Seryn's hand.

“Brotha! Brotha!”

“What is it Sylv?”

Arthur asked, looking down at Sylvie whose eyes are shining like gold jewelries as she looked at him with wide excited eyes.

“Is sister gonna be with us?”

Arthur for a split of a second, grimaced. Just as he was about to answer his sister, Seryn cut him off.

“Oh why not? I would enjoy living with such a cuuuute little creature like you!”

She said, looking down at Sylvie, then she turned her face towards Arthur, sending a grin at him.

“And me and your brother already played earlier! He'll surely enjoy being with me.”

Arthur froze making him stop in his tracks which also made the two stop on their own tracks. Arthur glared daggers at Seryn and is about to retort but she cuts him off again.

“Oh! what about Sylvie? How is your little walk? ”

Sylvie too replied with so much enthusiasm.

“Ah! I flew to the forest and found this dog. The dog is so cute and fat and fluffy and big so I want him to be my pet. But the dog ran away when it saw me. Then I also ran to get him but he disappeared so I searched for him. But I can't find him so....

Sylvie continued to talk about her adventure. Basically she found a dog like mana beast and chased it with the intention of capturing it. So the little dragon chased it but the mana beasts escaped her sight and eventually, Sylvie came back with so much disappointment as she couldn't find the beast anymore.

“Awww that's such a waste. But don't worry! This sister of yours will find that dog for you okay?”

“really?!”

“Yes yes, I'm pretty good at things like sensory unlike... a certain someone.”

She said, her playful gaze lingered at Arthur. Arthur on the other hand stared back with a cold look, hundreds of emotions hidden behind his face.

Seeing this, Seryn couldn't help but let out a chuckle — which annoyed Arthur even more — and continued to walk alongside Sylvie.

Arthur's pride and expectations about his ability to sense diminished but he continued to walk with the two.

After some more walking, the three have finally reached a tall, gargantuan, wide mountain. Glancing at Seryn then turning his attention back at the top of the mountain, Arthur opened his mouth.

“Can you fly?”

Seryn closed her eyes.

“I can swim”

Arthur smiled faintly, the corners of his lips twitched as he secretly tried to stop himself from laughing at the girl.

“But can you fly though?

Arthur looked at her smuggly. Seryn however, welcomed his gaze with great annoyance.

“No but I can swim.”
