"Jisungie?"

Jisung slowly tilts his head to face the man lying on his lap, his fingers carding through his black hair.

"Yeah, Jinnie?"

"I hope you know I'd choose you over the world."

Hyunjin had that look on his face. The very same look he gave Jisung all those months ago when they'd just started dating; A tight-lipped smile and crinkled eyes.

That look never failed to make Jisung's heart flutter. But then again, Hyunjin never failed to make his heart flutter. Ever.

He exhaled softly, his thumb coming to trace Hyunjin's half-lidded eyes.

Jisung snorts at his words, "You're drunk,"

Hyunjin's smile only grows, "And you're pretty!" He giggles, nuzzling closer to Jisung's hand.

With an annoyed (and fond) huff, Jisung begins to massage his temples, Hyunjin melting into him immediately.

"I hope you know how hungover you'll be tomorrow," Jisung deadpans. He's not sure how they began drinking instead of watching movies like they'd planned. It's been a tough week for them, he supposes. Hyunjin more so, having to constantly move from one location to another to hide from the Heroes, who've been on his tail for a month now. Hyunjin had just checked into a small, humble hotel on the outskirts of City Miroh, calling Jisung to come over shortly after.

Someday, Jisung hoped that they wouldn't have to run like this constantly.

Hyunjin hiccups, his body vibrating, "You-" another hiccup, making Jisung hold back his snort, "-you won't go yet, right?"

"No, baby. I'm staying the night, remember?" Jisung coos. He gently pats the other's cheek, which was tinted pink.

"'m sleepy, carry me to bed," Hyunjin sits up, only to let his body go limp again across Jisung's chest. "Stay with me,"

Jisung presses a quick kiss to Hyunjin's lips, before grunting as he struggles to lift his boyfriend, "Always, baby," he huffs, managing to gather a giggling Hyunjin in his arms, "Now, off to bed. Maybe I could help you move away again tomorrow."

"'kay,"

Jisung hadn't even reached the bedroom yet, let alone turn the doorknob, but he could feel Hyunjin going completely limp in his hold, snoring gently. Jisung is fondly reminded of how his boyfriend passed out on the car ride home on their first date, how he tried to take a stolen picture of that exact moment but realized he needed to keep his eyes on the road. It was a truly memorable night, Jisung would say. He remembered how he had to drag a half-asleep Hyunjin to the bed, much like tonight.

Hyunjin's breathing was slow, and steady as Jisung carefully laid him on the clean, white bed of the hotel.

He's beautiful like this; his black hair is a contrast against the pristine sheets, Jisung's dark blue hoodie donned on his torso.

For six months, they've been hiding. Six months, where Jisung kept looking for ways to keep them as safe as possible from City Miroh's Greatest Heroes. One day, maybe, everything would fall together and he wouldn't have to keep his precious Hyunjin a secret anymore.

Jisung glances at the sleeping boy once more, and with a swift flick of his wrist, the covers are pulled over Hyunjin's figure.

Jisung isn't supposed to use his powers around Hyunjin, but it's not like Hyunjin would remember anyway. And he's asleep.
