Jisung finds his boyfriend sipping an Americano at the dimly lit bus stop.

It was past sunset, and Hyunjin had asked him to come over and keep him company while he went out to paint. Yeah, it's dark, but there was a specific place Hyunjin said was a perfect spot just to sit and chill, maybe talk, and it definitely was a place for inspiration. So, ignoring the schedule on the door that said it was his turn to do the laundry, Jisung left the apartment.

Jisung made sure to turn his location off, so that if his hyungs needed him, they would have to call to ask where he was, and he'd have some warning before leaving. He could tell Hyunjin his boss at the restaurant needed him over there, or something.

With his tote bag slung over his shoulder, Hyunjin wordlessly took Jisung's hand, and led him down a dark road, soon coming to stop at a sign.

Caution; Private Property.

"Uh," gripping Hyunjin's hand a little tighter, Jisung wearily glances at the menacing sign, "Are you absolutely sure we're allowed to be here?"

His boyfriend glances at him dryly, "Yes, Sungie. Otherwise, I wouldn't bring you here,"

"Okay..."

Jisung lets Hyunjin lead him through the now darker field, the grass seemingly trimmed meticulously. There were trees surrounding the place, leaving a lot of space in the middle so that the moon was visible, providing the two with a dim light. If Jisung was right, he could see a few apples on the ground, so maybe the trees were apple trees?

It was awfully quiet, save for the soft wind, the sound of their shoes stepping on the grass, and some crickets here and there.

This place gave Jisung such a calm feeling. Hyunjin was right, this is a perfect spot. He looks around, seeing a few patches of flowers. On the far right, Jisung sees a lake. There was a dock, and a boat sat by it.

"Hyunjin, you're sure we can be here?" Jisung whispers sharply, tugging Hyunjin to a halt. His boyfriend sighs, "Yes, Jisung. Yes, we can. I swear on my paintbrushes that we won't be scolded," he intertwines their fingers, and Jisung sees those eyes sparkle as he gently tugs him to keep moving once again, "Now, come on."

Jisung relents, more or less being dragged by Hyunjin now.

They reach the dock, and Hyunjin moves to sit on the grass by it. Jisung just stands there awkwardly.

"What are you doing, you dumbass?" Hyunjin scowls, already taking his sketchbook out, "Sit down, the grass doesn't bite,"

"It might as well," Jisung mutters, but he moves to do so anyway.

Hyunjin plays a soft song on his phone, and he starts to sketch his subject. Jisung watches Hyunjin, his face dropping into a more serious, more focused demeanour. His eyebrows were now furrowed, his eyes shifting as he kept track of all the little details that Jisung could never hope to catch. The sound of his pencil dancing across the sketchbook paper, and the sound of the music made Jisung feel nostalgic.

God, he loves Hyunjin.

And he makes sure he knows by leaning in to connect their lips, even for a mere second.

Hyunjin seems endeared by this, and grins, flustered.

No words are exchanged, and none are needed. The couple revels in each other's quiet company.

It takes a while, but Jisung finally makes out what Hyunjin was sketching.

It was the boat by the dock, the moon bright above the lake, reflecting off of it in all its glory. Jisung smiles fondly at the way Hyunjin shyly shows it to him. But before he could even take a proper look, Hyunjin retracts it, muttering a 'hold on' as he scribbled something onto it. When he finally hands it to Jisung, he sighs in awe.
