J U H I"Listen Ruhi, I don't want to go inside." Ruhi sighed and then held my shivering hands in hers and kissed them. Her small gestures always make me feel better. Ruhi, my twin sister wanted me to accompany her to a business party, organised by her husband, Yudhishthir Rathore and I won't lie, both of them are my saviours.
"Why don't you want to accompany me?" What would I have told her? That I didn't want to embarrass her. I don't know how to behave in public.
She took a deep breath and said,"Don't worry Juhi. I am with you. Just trust me and trust the process. You are my sister and you won't embarrass me." A small smile appeared on my lips and I nodded.
Slowly, I followed her inside and my hand was clasped with her hand. She is the best sister. She is my best friend. Taranveer Singhania broke her heart in the worst way, he acted like her best friend but was hatching a plan against her and Yudhishthir.
I quietly sat on a chair and watched people talking to each other. My heart beat rose whenever anyone stood near me. I was mentally praying for the party to end soon.
Ruhi sighed when she saw me sitting alone. She came near me and offered me her hand and said,"Come Juhi, let's have lunch."
No!
I didn't want to embarrass her. I don't know basic table manners. Ruhi knew what was going inside me. She sat on the chair beside me and said,"Don't worry Juhi. I am with you, nothing will happen. You have to become strong, not for anyone but for yourself." She tried to boost my self confidence and she almost succeeded in it.
I gave her a nod and she smiled. I managed to stand up and I accompanied her for the lunch. My heart fluttered whenever she did those activities which she would have never done in public but did them just for my sake. Like I wasn't comfortable in eating bread with spoon or fork, I liked eating with hand. And Ruhi herself had her food the way I have.
She noticed me a lot.
She didn't left my hand. Yudhishthir passed me a warm smile when he introduced me to his business partners and it was warming me up.
"Juhi..I think I got my periods, I need to change. Can you please hold Vaayu?" Vaayu giggled when I took him in my arms. He is eleven months old and my sweets baby. I kissed his chubby cheeks and he squealed.
"Missi loves you baby." I never saw a baby. He is the first one I saw. I should say I was not even allowed to see the nature. I was given food just once a day and they all made me think that life I am living is a normal life.
Hell.
Vaayu was playing with the pendant, I had worn. He looked up and gave a charming smile of his. "Missssii...misssiii." Whenever he calls me Missi, I feel proud. I know I am Vaayu's favourite missi. I was lost in my thoughts and was rocking Vaayu back and forth when I felt a presence behind me.
For a second my posture stiffened and next second I turned around to see a handsome man standing behind me. With a glass in his hands and a small smile playing on his lips. He pinched Vaayu's cheeks and said,
"Hello Junior Rathore." He knew Vaayu, then it meant he knew Ruhi and Yudhishthir.I somehow managed to give him a small smile and then turned towards the front. My heart was thumping hard and I think even he was able to hear my heartbeats.
He came in front of me and said,"Hello Miss Juhi Singhania. Myself Aadit Khanna, Himanshi's brother. I work as a CA with your brother-in-law, Yudhishthir Rathore's company, 'Rathore enterprises and associates'. "
I don't know why but my heart skipped a beat.
