Naagin 2: The Cursed NaagRani, Shivangi

Ch 5- An unexpected union

Present..

As Shivangi's eyes closed away in pain, Shesha could not hold back her smile and let out a scream to hide it.

"The Naagin is dead", 'Rithik' announced. 'Rocky' and 'Rithik' kept staring at Shivangi, still unable to believe that it worked. 'Rocky' almost kicked Shivangi to hear her scream but 'he' had to keep it in. Looking back up, 'he' saw the bright glow of Naagmani from the Shiv-Linga. 'He' still had to be the 'sad and helpless husband' and wiped away his tears with his red bloody hands and slowly walked towards the Naagmani. After finally taking it into 'his' hand, the smile could no longer be hidden. Since there wasn't much time left for the sun to set, 'he' placed it quickly on his head and declared, "Now, Naagmani is in my hands and I am going to rule Thakshak clan."

Forgetting about 'Rithik' who disappeared along with her, Shesha wanted to reach the Thakshak temple as soon as possible. But before that, she needs to make the protection of the hidden room stronger. All still being in the disguise of Rocky. She hurried to the bottom of the temple, and stood outside the door. The Naagmani let out a bright glow onto the doors as it enchanted the room with stronger protection that no Naag or Naagin can break. Only Shesha could decide who can enter and leave. Resisting the urge to see Rocky's face as he realizes the truth, she left for Thakshak lok.

At Thakshak lok, disguised as Rocky, Shesha placed the bloody Naagmani on top of the Shiv Ling. All the Naag-Naagins cheered as this was the first time most of them are seeing Naagmani on top of the Shiv Ling in their temple. Everyone hailed 'Rocky' and Shesha resisted the temptation to show her true self because Naagmani could reveal the truth to Shivangi. Although Shesha wanted Shivangi to be dead, she wished even more for her to be alive enough to see everything. She imagined how Shivangi would feel seeing 'Rocky' do this. This was also what compelled her to use Naagmani to make her 'Rithik' form more permanent. Shesha would take the form of 'Rocky' and the 'Rithik' form would follow Shesha's orders.

"Almost 2 hours have passed, Rocky would be up now", she wondered. "Oh, How broken he would be, poor Rocky!", she laughed inside. "There's still time left for the sunset. I need to make sure that at that time, Naagmani is with me. So that it won't disappear and I can use it whenever I need. But, I just can't wait to see Rocky's face. After sunset, there is no way I can pay him a visit with the Naagmani." 

That was the first mistake she made. She was enjoying her victory so much that she longed for someone to see all of it. She didn't feel content. She was dying to see Rocky. She grew over confident with her plan.

"I have to tell him that Shivangi died! I want to see him shatter. If I leave now, I can definitely come back before sunset."

About 10 mins ago....

Rithik had been trying to wake the strange man up for about 2 hours. Rocky lay unconscious on his lap. Suddenly his eyes were flickering and he was coming to his senses. Rithik was a bit scared as Rocky started moving his hands. "Afterall, he is a Thakshak Naag." Rithik wondered. "But why would Shesha try to lock him up? Maybe he can help me." All his doubt vanished when he heard Rocky whisper something. "Shivangi..." Rocky called out, as he sleepily opened his eyes. His eyes were welcomed with pure darkness. Among the darkness, his eyes met someone else's. He saw a face. A familiar one. But he couldn't quite make it out.

"Shivangi? Do you kn......? Wake up... Are y....?". Rocky could only hear a few words.

He suddenly realized that he was with someone else. He squinted and blinked faster as his eyes became clearer. He suddenly sat up and looked around him, "Where am I? Who are.." He turned back to look at the guy who had been talking to him. "Wait, You? I have seen your photo. You are her father!"

"Shivangi! You know her? Is she alive?", Rithik asked.

"Of course", Rocky nodded.  "But this is impossible. We saw how you were killed. We were carrying out your revenge."

 "I was indeed attacked by them. But these snakes saved me. Because of my mark. For Naagmani." Rithik pointed to his neck. Rocky didn't even have to look at his neck because he knew exactly what he was talking about. "I had been trapped here for a very long time. I have to tell her about me." Rithik was suddenly overwhelmed with joy about the possibility of meeting his daughter that he suddenly realized something. He stood up.

"Who are you? How do you know her?"

Rocky also stood up. "I am Rocky. I am Shivangi's husband."

Rithik was confused as to which statement surprised him more. That he was Rocky, his friend's son whom he had once protected. Or that he was Shivangi's husband.

"You are Vasudha's son!" Rithik hugged him.

Rocky was suddenly surprised that he mentioned his mother's name. But then he remembered what Shivangi had told him. He hugged him back. While letting go, he asked, "You were friends right? Is my Mom alive as well?"

Rithik suddenly looked down. He remembered the body of his friend and wished he could say yes. "I am sorry!"

Rocky also let his eyes down. He then asked, "Where are we?"

"I don't know! I have never seen the outside of this place. Shesha brought you here. And you where unconscious for about 2 hours."

Suddenly Rocky shivered. "Shesha! She is alive? What would have happened for 2 hours! No, no... We need to get out. We have to warn Shivangi."

Rithik nodded and even though he was brimming with questions for Rocky, he decided to first escape the place. Rocky took his Naag form and tried to break the door. But he was too late as Shesha had already cast the protection spell. He was thrown off away from the door towards the wall which had a portrait on it. It was the portrait of the Thakshak NaagRani.

Rithik ran to help Rocky get up. "I had tried many times to escape but the place has a spell that binds me in here. Even with the door open, I had been not able to walk out of it. I think she cast the same on you as well."

Unwilling to give up, he decided to give another go at the door. But just as he stood up, the door opened.

Rocky was taken aback as the one who opened it looked exactly like him. The door closed as 'Rocky' walked in the room with a smile.
