"O-oh, I just thought—..." - Ximena
Augustine laughs.
"Disappointed?" - Acse
"I-I mean yes, a little. I just thought—...Y-you're just lucky I didn't let Rhys in." - Ximena
"No mama. You're lucky you didn't let Rhys in." - Acse
"I do wonder what he would have done..." - Ximena
"I'm not staying because you're packing and coming with me." - Acse
"B-but...this is...I mean, will I be back?" - Ximena
"Hopefully not but, don't worry. I will keep the rent paid so you're not just giving up your apartment. If you love staying with me by the time your 6 months is up on your lease...I'm not renewing it." - Acse
"You're giving me 6 months to decide on if I stay with you or not." - Ximena
"Hm, that's a better way to say it...well, yes detective." - Acse
"T-that's such a big decision." - Ximena
"Being with me is a big decision and 6 months is plenty of time to decide..." - Acse
Few Hours Later -12:00 am: Augustine's House
"Welcome home Master Acse, Ms. Valentine." - Sebastian
"Hey Seb." - Acse
Augustine walks in and leaves Ximena alone with Sebastian.
"Hey Sebastian!" - Ximena
"It's good to see you again Ms. Valentine." - Sebastian
"Please, call me Ximena or Mena even." - Ximena
"As you wish." - Sebastian
Sebastian waits for Augustine to exit the room before he leans in whispering to Ximena.
"I hope master Acse didn't kidnap you." - Sebastian
Ximena giggles.
"Something like that if I'm being honest." - Ximena
Sebastian laughs.
"Well, it's always good to have you. Please do not hesitate to call me if you need anything." - Sebastian
Sebastian grabs Ximena's belonging and carries them off.
"Thank you Sebastian." - Ximena
"Of course Ximena." - Sebastian
Augustine returns with a little care package.
"It's a bit too late for me to explain any of this but to make things quick and easy, this has everything you might need for your stay." - Acse
"O-oh, what is this." - Ximena
Augustine hands her a basket full of things.
"Things you might need if I'm not around. The house is big so there are credit cards with limitless funds, phones that contact specific people such as Sebastian, the chef, me. There is a pair of keys for the house and just loads of things you might need to get around the house." - Acse
"Oh wow, this is a bit...overwhelming." - Ximena
"I figured but I needed to give this to you because of the party tonight. I'll be busy and I'm sure you will too." - Acse
"Oh, right. The masquerade." - Ximena
"You ready for bed or..." - Acse
"Yes please." - Ximena
