After that day the old HM had partially returned. She had been doing her best to balance her team, the mission, the constant clashes with KS, looking after her ammi and most importantly manofying her love. She had turned into a modern-day Romeo coming up with creative ideas and plans to get her love back. She also made plans which worked well in fixing the Singh siblings relationship which were working but to a certain extent. The hoops she jumped and things she did in the past few months were quite surprising, even for her. But unfortunately, the person who she was trying to pacify had 0 to no affect. Well according to her but internally he was enjoying her un-divided attention and the tiny little things she did for him be it cooking him his lunch almost everyday to forcing her company on him to decorating their spot with tiny fairy light setting up a date, he loved every bit of it. She even used to indulge in a little workplace romance when she met him during his lunch hours or sneakily pecking his cheek when he did his routine visits, he enjoyed it all for once he wasn't the one stealing kisses. Her thana life on the other hand was also going on the rough patch with CC acting and lashing out on tiny little things putting himself in a position that could've costed him his job. Yet she was that glue that held everything.

She had been pouring out herself for everyone around her but the main question was who has been pouring out anything for her? She did everything for everyone with a smile on her face but lately everyone seemed to be on a mission to hurt her. That's when the masterji case happened in their life causing KS to do the stunt she did. After watching the press conference, she went to headquarters where she came face to face with KS in AS's office. She than followed KS out after a quick chat with AS seeking answers for the questions she had but unfortunately for HM BP had fuelled up KS who blamed her HM for the closure of the MPT and in an angry rant said "apke karan humne apne hi bhai pe goli chalai! Aphike karan aj humra humre bhai ke sath koi rishta nahi hai! Paata nahi woh konsi manhooz gadi thi jo app humre zindagi mein ah gayi! Khooni hai app ek bheguna insan ko marne ki koshish ki! Sab apke waja se hua hai! Apke aur apki faltu jajbato ki baton ke karan! Aphi ke karan CC waise bejat hoke aya tha! Apke karan yeh thana aj yeh thana band hua!" saying so she went to her bike.

HM was never a woman to let others words get to her but the one who spoke these words was her KS, her best friend someone who really mattered to her in her life. She walked down to the DSP office who had just gotten off a call with his seniors who were fuming over the situation at hand thanks to all the political pressure. She saw a fuming DSP who stood there angry at the circumstances and seniors for the decision that was made. She hugged him from the back trying to calm her speeding heart right now she needed someone to tell her that everything will be ok for once she need assurity. But destiny had other plans and the person who she was seeking comfort from too lashed out taking out the seniors anger and frustrations of their past on her ending the conversation with "jab jab hum apko dekhte hai hume yaha" pointing at his chest "dard hota hai! apka diya har zakam phir se jivit hojata hai! jayea yaha se app nahi dekna hai hume apko" at the end. Causing her to jerk back with the plant of insecurities now growing into a strong tree burying its roots deep down in her heart finally breaking the last thread that was holding everything together for her. Taking steps back she went away from there back to her thana somehow composing herself on her way there. AS realised his words the moment he saw something break and was to follow but was called away by the IG. HM on the other side motivated her team and solved the case same way as the episode saving MPT. The press conference was held announcing the truth but the only difference was KS choose to stay with the Janipuram thana as SHO and MPT was saved. everyone present there rejoiced but soon everyone noticed their leader missing. she was there at the start so where would she disappear they thought. After the conference AS tried calling HM not happy about her absence from the meeting when a constable appeared infront of him handing over her resignation.

Earth slipped from his feet as he read it her reason of leaving "not someone who is meant to be a leader. A leader who has failed her team on multiple occasions" she said. Trying to keep himself together he rushed out only to be stopped by the MPT members querying the absence of their MS. Handing the letter to them he ran to his car making his way to her house only to find it locked. While he questioned the neighbours the MPT got there equally worried and guilty realising they were too responsible for her feeling that. She had been nothing but a great leader who led her team with love and respect for everyone. Yes, her ideology was not 100% but than which ideology is perfect every ideology has its flaws but hers has worked wonders too and have failed too.

It was this moment they realised they fucked up and now they lost the person who they held dearly. They tried looking for her everywhere but she and ammi vanished off the surface of Earth like they never existed. the neighbours told them how ammi had fell poorly and had to be taken to the hospital but no hospital showed any records or any mentions of Noor Jahan Malik. soon the days of search turned to months, months turned to years, relationships changed, people changed but the only thing that remained unchanged was the hollow she left. The MPT never had a new SHO, the team no longer did their bakati and the area no longer felt the same.
