The boys drag Lafayette to the schools lunch room, each splitting up to get foods. Lafayette decides to go with Hercules, since he is the calmest of all three. Hercules gets pizza, so Lafayette does too. He then follow him back to a table, Alexander and John soon following after with sandwiches.

Some girls from the previous class walk by, four of them chatting as the take a table farther away.

Alexander stares as the past, sitting back with a smile. One of them, a black haired girl looks over, smiling at him. Alexander waves, turning to the group. "I've got her hooked."

Lafayette raises an eyebrow, "And who iz that?"

John chuckles, "The love of Alexanders life, Eliza." I nods to the table the girls sit at, "She's sisters with Angelica and Peggy. Y/n, the fourth girl, is their best friend."

The group smiles, John, smiling over at Alexander who stares over at Eliza. "Not gonna go say hi to your girlfriend, Alex?"

Alexander chuckles, shaking his head. "If I go over there, so will you. She says she doesn't want you flirting with her sisters. She's very protective, you know."

John blushes, "I do not! Besides, Angelica isn't my type."

Hercules laughs, patting Johns back. "We weren't talking about Angelica, my friend."

John huffs, his face even redder, making his freckles even more visible. "Fuck off. I don't like Peggy like that. We're just friends."

Lafayette smiles. It's clear it's more than that. He's just suprised now easily these guys have opened to him. "Go on, go get the girl."

John scoffs, "And you said you weren't a romantic."

Lafayette chuckles, "Ah, no. I zaid I wasn't straightforward. Doesn't mean you cannot be."

John rolls his eyes, "I don't like where, guys."

Alexanders shakes his head, taking a bite of his sandwich. "Liar." I says, his mouthful.

John frowns, "What if your wrong? What if I like... Y/n?" I points out.

Hercules smiles, "Dude, we all know you and Y/n have been best friends for years. No way you like her."

John smiles guiltily, "Alright, I don't. But still." He says defensively.

Lafayette tilts his head, glancing over at the girls, "You are best friends?"

John nods, "Yeah. We went to high school together. You two would get a long." He smiles, looking over at Lafayette.
