ELLA OF CINDERS

cinder-ella

the beauty beneath the ash

revealeth till midnight struck

and yet the ball she did not crash

(rather the rose of Charmings eye she doth herself pluck)

flee she did in a magical swish swosh rush

in the pumpkin the mice rode her on track

as she left the castle a fortnight time past

yet in Charmings head rent free she stayed

she was THE ONE he couldn't let get away that fast

to sooth the lovesick prince royal advisor prayed

that the glass slipper would find it's footing

before the kingdom ended up floating

the prince would travel fleet and muck

to find the rose his heart strings felt pluck
