"Wow, that was incredible!" Digit exclaimed, "I never knew there were heroes like that in Cyberspace!"

Jackie nodded enthusiastically, her eyes sparkling with wonder. "Yeah, and the way they fought against Patheo with The EverCrystal... It's like something out of a dream!"

"I wonder if any of it is true? Could there really have been a group like the Protectors?" Matt chimed in, his voice filled with excitement and curiosity.

"Come on, guys, you don't actually believe all of this, do you? It sounds like just another made-up story to me." Inez replied, her brow furrowing with skepticism.

Her friends looked at her incredulously, surprised by her skepticism. "But Inez," Jackie protested, "What if there's some truth to it? What if The Protectors really did exist?"

"Come on guys, do you expect me to believe something like that? It's completely made up! Just another story made up for fun, like the rest of these legends."

As the group continued to discuss the legend of The Protectors, a familiar voice echoed through Control Central, interrupting their conversation. "Greetings, Cybermates, might you inform me of your delightful conversation?"

Turning around, they saw Dr. Marbles standing at the entrance, a curious expression on his face. Inez quickly closed the book, hiding it behind her back, unsure of how much to reveal.

"Oh, nothing, Dr. Marbles," Jackie replied quickly, trying to sound casual. "We were just reading about some old legends of Cyberspace."

Dr. Marbles raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Legends, you say? Mind if I take a look?"

Inez hesitated, glancing at her friends for support. Before she could respond, Digit eagerly handed over the book to Dr. Marbles, his excitement bubbling over. "Sure thing, Doc! It's about this group called The Protectors of Cyberspace. They were these amazing heroes who..."
