Aaradhya was beyond excited for her birthday party. She had been planning it for months, making sure every detail was perfect. As the guests started to arrive, she couldn't help but feel a rush of happiness seeing all her friends and family gathered to celebrate with her.

One person, in particular, stood out among the crowd - Chan, her childhood best friend. They had been inseparable since they were little, and Chan had always been there for Aaradhya through thick and thin.

"Happy Birthday Aaradhya." Chan wrapped an arm around her shoulder and looked down at her with a small grin. Aaradhya smiled and looked at chan. "Channie you made it..!" she hugged chan tightly. Chan chuckled and hugged her back. "Of course, I couldn't miss my best friend's special day." Aaradhya pulled away from chan and looked at him.

"You're the sweetest. Enjoy the party channie." She patted his chest and walked to her friends. Chan watched her walk away with a smile. "Hey guys! Enjoying the party?" She asked as she sat down next to her friends, Lisa, Lia, and Haewon. They all nodded. "Aaradhya... do you have something to tell us?" Lisa asked with a smirk.

Aaradhya tilted her head as she was confused. "Do I?" Aaradhya's friends laughed. "Come on Aara, we all know there's something between you and chan..." Haewon said as she smirked at Aaradhya and shook her shoulders. Aaradhya's eyes widened, a light tint of pink appeared on her cheeks.

"N-no! Guys it's not like that, I swear! Me and chan are like siblings, we've known each other before we could barely talk." Aaradhya shook her head and rolled her eyes like it was no big deal. Aaradhya's friends exchanged glances at each other, smirking. "Okay..." they giggled as they adjusted themselves in their seat.

"Real talk though, do you actually like him? Like more than a friend?" Lisa asked again. Aaradhya sighed. "It's complicated, but we'll talk about it later. Right now, let's enjoy the moment." Aaradhya sighed.

"Winter... how's your new business going..?" Aaradhya asked with a smile. "It is going amazing!" as Winter went on about her business, Aaradhya noticed a strange girl named Elissa hovering around the party. She didn't recognize her from any of her social circles and couldn't help but feel a sense of unease around her. Aaradhya brushed it off, thinking she was just being paranoid on her special day.

But as the night went on, Elissa's behavior grew more and more suspicious. Aaradhya caught her giving her nasty looks and whispering to other guests, causing a sense of discomfort to linger in the air. Aaradhya tried to ignore it and focus on enjoying her party, but something in her gut told her that Elissa was up to no good.

Aaradhya kept looking around while everyone was dancing to the music. "Aaradhya you've been super self-concious lately, is something bothering you?" Lia asked glancing back at her. "Yeah you seem distracted." Haewon added on. "See that girl over there?" Aaradhya pointed to Elissa with her friends. Lia and Haewon nodded. "Does she seem a little suspicious?" Aaradhya asked and looked at her friends.

Lia and Haewon observed Elissa, staring a bit too hard.. "No.. not really.." Lia shook her head. "I don't know, she's been bothering me. She's been looking around suspiciously, giving me dirty looks, and stuff like that." Lia and Haewon looked at each other. "Want me to deal with her?" Lisa whispered in Aaradhya's ear as she was listening in. Aaradhya bit her lip nervously. "it's fine, I'm sure she'll leave soon." Aaradhya nodded. Lisa shrugged and continued dancing.

Suddenly, in the middle of a dance, Elissa made her move. She stepped towards Aaradhya. "Hey Aaradhya, cool party you got here." Aaradhya turned around and looked at Elissa as she heard her name. Lisa, Lia, and Haewon turned around too. "Thanks?.." Aaradhya was still suspicious of her. Elissa was holding a cup of punch in her hands. What was she planning to do with that punch?

She drinks some of it and spits it all out on Aaradhya's white top, causing it to show her bright pink bra and a little bit of her chest. Elissa began to cover her mouth as she laughed. "Everyone look! Aaradhya's boobs are showing!" Everyone giggled and looked at Aaradhya.

Chan notice the commotion and quickly walked over to her and Elissa. He grabbed the punch bowl on his way and splashed all of it on Elissa and her friends. Everyone gasped and laughed as she and her friends were soaked in red punch. "Two can play at that game." Chan glared at them.

Elissa and her friends looked at Chan in disbelief. Everyone began recording her and her friends at their horrible, drenched, appearance. "Stop it! Put your phones away!" Elissa yelled as everyone began to circle her, along with the many phones being pointed in her direction. Elissa pushed through everyone and began to walk out of the party. Chan could've sworn he saw a few tears drop from her face as she walked out.

Chan turned around to check on Aaradhya who was shedding tears, as her friends comforted her. Chan walked up to her. "Aaradhya are you okay?" Chan asked as he looked at her with a concerned expression. Aaradhya shook her head. "Hey, I'm gonna get her cleaned up, you guys try and get the party going again..." Chan told Aaradhya's friends as her grabbed Aaradhya's hand and took her to the bathroom.

Chan picked her up and sat her on the counter. "Do you have wipes?" Chan asked as he looked around the bathroom. "Bottom drawer..." Aaradhya said lowly. Chan opened the drawer and grabbed a pack of body cleansing wipes. He cupped Aaradhya's stained cheek and wiped away her remaining tears.

Aaradhya felt a rush of gratitude towards Chan, knowing that he had once again come to her rescue. He wiped Aaradhya's shirt and cleaned any leftover punch she had on her body. "Here just... put this on." Chan took Aaradhya's birthday crown off her head and off and put it his sweater over Aaradhya. "Just keep this on, until it dries..." Chan adjusted his white shirt as Aaradhya slipped into the sweater.

"Better?" Chan asked as he tried to look at Aaradhya as she was looking down. Aaradhya looked at Chan and nodded. Chan put her crown back on her head and smiled at her. Aaradhya returned the smile. They stood in silence for a moment, the tension thick in the air. Finally, Chan spoke up, his voice soft and sincere.

"Aaradhya, I know we've been friends for a long time, but I can't help but feel something more for you. I've always cared about you, and tonight, seeing you in danger, made me realize just how much you mean to me.

Aaradhya's heart skipped a beat, her eyes meeting Chan's with a mix of emotions swirling within her. She felt a warmth spreading through her chest, knowing that Chan felt the same way she did. With a shaky breath, she reached out and took his hand, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

"Chan, I feel the same way. You've always been there for me, and I can't imagine my life without you in it. Tonight showed me just how much you mean to me too. And with that, Chan pulled Aaradhya into a tight embrace, the weight of unspoken words finally lifting off their shoulders. They stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, knowing that their bond was stronger than ever before.

As the night came to a close, Aaradhya couldn't help but feel grateful for the events that had unfolded. Despite the chaos and uncertainty, she had found comfort in Chan's arms and the assurance of their unbreakable bond. And as they whispered sweet nothings to each other in the quiet of the night, Aaradhya knew that this birthday would be one she would never forget.
