I get off blackjack, landing at the top of half-blood hill next to Thalia's pine, breathing in the smells camp provides. I just came back from a two week quest, alone.

"Annabeth!" I turn to see Piper and Jason running up the hill. Piper wraps me in a hug, "Come on, we have a surprise for you."

I smile, "Ok, where is it?"

"Follow us," Jason smiles mischievously.

I follow them all the way to the beach, they lead me to a cavern. I stop in my tracks, this was one of Percy's favorite spots.

"Come on, it's ok," Piper whispers reassuringly.

I nod and walk into the cavern, only to see Frank, Hazel, Leo, Reyna, Nico, Will, Thalia, Katie, Travis, Connor, Chris, and Clarisse sitting in a circle with their feet in a small pool of beautiful crystal water. All of them with their significant other or with a sibling or a friend.

Hazel signals for me to sit next to her, I sit down and Piper and Jason follow.

"We are all here in memory of our friend and family, Perseus Jackson, or Percy," Thalia starts, having tears in her eyes, "we were forced to take an oath to kill him on sight, luckily we never saw him, but exactly three years ago we lost all contact with him and trace of him, he disappeared. We don't know if he'll ever come back, but we still have hope we'll see him again some day soon. This place was his favorite spot to hide away from the world, it's the only part of the ocean that isn't murky or dreary," tears start to fill all of our eyes, "does anyone want to say something?*

"We might not have known him as long as all of you guys," Hazel says, "he treated us like family, since the day he walked into Camp Jupiter," she chokes in a sob, "he - he acted as if he'd known us our whole lives."

Nico takes a deep breath, "For so, so long I blamed him for Bianca's death, even though he never treated me differently, because I am a son of Hades, and I still hated him for so long, and-" his voice breaks. "And the last year I saw him he treated me like a brother, he was the big brother I never had. He could've treated me like everyone else did, but instead he gave me a cabin and a home. I - I lost Bianca, and then him. I used the time I had with him in vain-" Will hugs him. Nicos head is buried in Will's chest, and he starts to sob. It was normal for any of us to break down, Percy was the glue, he held us together.

Jason starts, "He was a leader, like me, he knew how it felt to be looked up to, to be depended on, he was my cousin, but he was also my bro, when I couldn't lead, he led. He was the best and most loyal friend I never deserved and I never asked for, he was there for me, always."  By now everyone was crying, including Clarisse.

Clarisse speaks up, "We were close in a different way, I made sure was never too cocky and he made sure I was never too cocky. We caught, a lot, but I'd known him for so long, since he was twelve. He isn't my friend anymore, he's my family." Chris embraces her in a hug.

"Well," I say, "he was my boyfriend, he was always so loyal, it was his fatal flaw, the only reason he ever even went on his first quest was to save his mom, his second quest wasn't even his, it was Clarisse's, he crashed it because he knew Grover was in trouble. He held the sky so Artemis could fight Atlas, he blamed himself for many deaths. Heck! He fell into Tartarus with me so I wouldn't be alone. And now I know, I will never make me someone hunt for someone I love ever again." I break down crying, everyone wraps me in a group hug. When we separate I wipe my eyes and sniffle, "T- thanks."

The conch horn blew, "Lunch." Piper says, "Come on."

As we walk to the dining pavilion, the sun shines bright in our eyes. "Wow," Thalia jokes, "Seems like Apollo is in a good mood."
