Lumielle's POV:

Nilapitan ako at niyakap ng bata.. She looks at me with love in her eyes. How do I respond?.. I don't even know this kid! My gaze shifted from the kid to her I suppose her parent.

We exchanged eye contacts, observing the masculine guy that was looking at me with admiration. I do find him weird..

Ano sasabihin ko? Pa'no kung namali lang sila? Obviously, hindi ako nanay! Ni hindi ko pa nga naramdaman ang pakiramdam na makama, tapos may tumatawag na sa akin na mama!? Haynako, anong ginawa mo Lumielle!?

I kept on observing their faces, May kapatid ba ako? Now that I've observed the kid's face, she does quite resembles me. Her eyes looks like mine.

Ngiti nang ngiti sa akin ang lalaking ito... Infairness, may itsura siya! I kept on talking to myself in my mind, not uttering any word as I don't wanna ruin their moment.

Then, the man finally spoke, "Easy, Ellie, you're mother's wound still hasn't fully healed yet."

Hindi ako umimik sa kaniyang salita, at napansin ko na medyo malungkot ang tingin niya.

Sino ba 'to? Alam niya pangalan ko, tapos tinatawag niya pa akong nanay ng batang 'to na ang pangalan ay Ellie!?

I finally decided to talk, "Uhm.. Sino po sila? Pa'no niyo po alam pangalan ko?" The look of confusion in my eyes never left me, I was really not aware of was happening.

Instead of getting an answer, I saw the kid stopped clinging on me. She looked at me, horror in her eyes, aswell as her father.

Anong nangyari? Bakit? Galit ba sila? Naku po!

"What do you mean "sino po sila" honey? Quit joking around." Said the man. He was clearly upset and was not gonna have my words.

Pinagsasabi nito? Quit joking around, mama mo! I tilted my head, his child seems to tear up.

"I'm not joking, sir. Hindi ko po talaga kayo maalala.." Sabi ko. My gaze shifted from the guy to the girl who was silently tearing up.

Ha? Hindi nila ako pinag tri-tripan?.. It was such a heart breaking to see a child tearing up.

I hated kids since the day I was born but this child seems to be an exception.

I don't even know her but I do pity her. I do wonder how her mother does looks like para naman ma-compore ko mukha ko duon.

"Honey, I know you're mad at me. But let's set that argument aside first please. Our child needs you first. I don't even know how to cook!" Exclaimed by the man who just now face-palmed himself.

He kneeled down and carried the child, "Please.. Tommorow will be the day that you can go home. The Doctor said we can continue your treatment in our house. He already provided me your medicine, here," He stopped talking as he took a medicine in a bottle on his pocket and placed it on my table.

"Ellie and I will leave now, are you hungry? Let me know before we leave so that you could drink your medicine today, baby," He paused for a moment and took a bill on his pocket.
