Meeting her

Kaius’ POV:

"Sir, I highly apologize for going in, please pardon my intrusion.." May kaidaran na babae ang pumasok sa aking opisina. Ang boses niya ay mahinhin, at mahina.

Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay, habang pinagmamasdan siya, "You better not waste my time. What is it?" I fixed my poor posture, shotting her a glare. She seems to be frightened judging by what her eyes states.

"We- our group had received an email job request from your wife, sir. Miss Lumielle." She said trying to compose her feary look.

Ha.. I knew it, the doctor's joking around! My wife knew that I am her husband, that's why out of all company, she chose my company. Her company, too.

I playful grin appeared on my face, "Who's the person holding the UT's email?"

"Me, sir." Sinagot niya agad,

"Give it to me, now. I'll be handling the request she sent."

She nods in response, leaving my office. It didn't took her that long after she sent me the email's password. Being the holder of a large company's email sucks, that's why I had those subordinates of mine use it. Though, other platforms are mine, walang ibang nakaka-open nu'n.

Binuksan ko 'yung email, at nandu'n nga ang asawa ko. What a tease you are, Lumielle.

My wife's probably laughing right now, that just sounds her. Lumielle, the woman that you are. You know how to push my buttons, but I do love you.

My thoughts faded as soon as I got a call, kinuha ko ito at ito ang mama ni Lumielle.

"Ma, yes po?" My voice softens,

"Si Lumielle, nasa QC anak ko, 'nak. Pupuntahan mo ba?" She answered me, her voice doesn't sound concern at all.

Pero since alam ko naman na na my wife's just joking around, na gusto niya labg akong biruin, I answered, "Hindi na po, ma. Babalik naman na po si Lum."

"Gano'n ba? Sige lang 'nak. Kung pumunta siya d'yan, kamo anak niya iyak ng iyak dito. Buti nga naka-takas pa 'ko sa halimaw.." It was effortless but it did made me laugh.

"Ah yes po, thank you for taking care of my wife's and I's daughter, ma."

"P*nyeta talaga 'yung babaeng 'yun! Inuna mag tampo bago mag alaga. Feeling virgin!" Exclaimed by her mother, I know for the fact that she's annoyed. That's where my wife got her attitude from. Nag jo-joke, biglang magagalit. They really are mother and daughter.

As soon as I was about to speak, her mother ended the call. Uhm..

Good thing I have this clothes from the man who thought I'm his wife, stupid ass.

I thought to myself as I began getting ready. I had to look the fanciest!

As I was getting closer to the destined address, it was... Familiar. What the heck?

I entered the big building, everyone's attention was on me, I was showered with attention... As they should. I look gorgeous on their point of view, I just know.

Palapit na ako ng palapit sa opisina ng may ari nitong malaking building na ito, and I can feel nervousness washing through me. Everyone's eyes were on me.

Okay, this is indeed weird.

I am not infornt of the owner's door, knocking. Someone running, I can hear it from the other side of the door. I was about to open it when it was opened on the other side. I was greeted by...

Him again!?

He hugged me tightly, like his life depends on the hug he's giving. After a minutes of hugging me, he stopped, his eyes is full of joy, and it was also written all over his face.

"Honey, you're finally here!" He greeted me.

"Stop with your honey, ba't ka nandito?" Naiirita kong tanong na ikinatawa naman niya, wala namang nakakatawa.

"Stop, ayan ka nanaman. Of course nandito ako because I work here." He smiled at me, his eyes never left mine.

I observed him, looking at him from head to toe.

"You're the janitor? What a shame. Umalis ka na nga rito!" Naiirita kong sabi na kaniyang ikinatawa nanaman.

I couldn't help but feel a pang of irritation wash over me as he kept laughing all over, again and again. This is stupid, I'm starting to hate him.

"Come on in. Nag a-apply pala si miss beautiful, right." He invited me in, the audacity after laughing at me tapos biglang 'kala mo wala siyang ginawang kahihiyan.

I rolled my eyes at his stupid face, making him chuckle. I entered the big office of, as he seems to claim that he's the owner. It is big. Half of the floor is his office.

"Interview me if you're the boss." I said to him, he just kept smiling, this is overwhelming me.

"’Di ba nga you're hired na? I made it clear na sa email mo, yes?" He titled his head, tinaas niya ang kaniyang kaliwang kilay, at ngumiti.

I shrugged my thoughts off, and stared at him. He's like a kid on his face, it's so weird. I hate it.

"Edi ano gagawin ko?"

"Do as you please, Lummy." He said firmly, not leaving a chance for an argument.

I barged out of the room, "Ina naman nitong lalaki na ‘to!” I exclaimed as soon as I was fully out of the room.

When the fate hates you, really. Destiny will make its way to annoy you more and more! Katulad nito, siya na naman?

I spaced out of the room, I mean, oo nga, I do owe him for paying for the bills back at the hospital. Kasi, sino ba naman ang estrangherong magbabayad ng bayarin ng hindi niya kilala?

"...Siguro, kaya niya ako kinuha ay para mabayaran utang ko? Paano kung hindi niya ako pasasahurin!?" Bigla ko na lang nasabi nang malakas ang aking iniisip. Tinignan ko ang aking paligid kung may nakakita ba, wala naman.

Bumukas ang pintuan mula sa opisina nuong lalaking estranghe na tinatawag niya ang kaniyang sariling “boss” dito. Hindi ko alam, sana na lang dumating na ang totoong boss.

"Nandirito ma ulit, janit-" Hindi ko na natapos ang aking sasabihin nang siya ay sumagot.

"You're fired, Lumielle." He said, stern and his gaze is deep within me once again.

What the hell?
