Author's note: This will include: Monobaku, half-baked plot, not canonically accurate, cursing, and semi-cannon personalities. Enjoy.

School is a pain in the ass, but having a shitty day and a test is even worse. Monoma walked into the dorms planning on sleeping the rest of the day away, but Tetsutetsu and Kirishima were in the living room playing video games.

"Yo! Monoma! Kirishima brought over some food, it's super good!"

Tetsutetsu hollered at Monoma, who scowled and went to try it.

Monoma entered the kitchen and opened the fridge. Inside on the top shelf, an orange plastic container chilled. Monoma took it out and set it on the counter with a huff. His eyes began drooping, but he wasn't interested in TetsuTetsu whining about him not eating whatever was brought over.

Monoma opened the container and inside was a bunch of mochis. It appeared to be normal and Monoma didn't see the abnormality of it. He picked one and as he bit in, an explosion of flavour burst on his tongue. The mochi wasn't overbearingly sweet: it was fluffy and chewy and there were strawberries on the inside that were complemented by a chocolate filling.

Monoma ate three before a headache bloomed at his temple and he remembered he needed sleep. He finished his mochi as he put away the orange container on the top shelf. Tetsutetsu said something to Monoma, but he couldn't hear him over the brain-numbing headache. He drug his feet into his dorm room and barely finished stretching before he flopped onto his bed. He started getting up to change but decided against it and stripped down to his undergarment.

After a few hours of blissful sleep, Monoma rolled off his bed. When his bare back contacted the cold floors, it knocked a groan out of him and half his air. Chills ran down his spine, and an exasperated sigh slithered out of his throat like a deep puff from a cigarette.

Once his back got used to the cold floor, he sat up and stretched. Sluggishly, he stood up and put on a vest with sweatpants. He left his room and went downstairs to the kitchen. As he filled the kettle, he grabbed his sugar and tea. TetsuTetsu walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge, grabbing a bottle of pop.

"How'd you like the mochi?" TetsuTetsu broke the silence and Monoma looked over at him with a half bored, half tired expression. "It was pretty good. Who made them?" Monoma spoke slower than usual and his voice was a tad gruff.

"Bakugo did." Monoma, surprised, accidentally burned himself with the kettle. He hissed at the pain, then looked at TetsuTetsu with disbelief.

"No way."

"Yea way." TetsuTetsu grinned and Monoma's brows shot up.

"Wow."

"I know! He's such a superb cook. Oh oh! You should make something."

"What?" Monoma wasn't awake enough to follow what TetsuTetsu was saying. His face contorted in confusion with a scrunched nose and furrowed brows.

"When Kirishima comes back to take the container, you should give something back as a thank you!" Tetsutetsu spoke joyously and Monoma rolled the idea around in his head.

"Maybe."

"Yes!"

"I said maybe!" Monoma barked, and Tetsutetsu chuckled.

"I'm turning in for the night!"

"Alright, whatever."

Monoma thought as he poured the water into his teacup. If Bakugo had made something sweet for them, then it was only fair to send something sweet back. He decided to make Jammy Dodgers.
