Two weeks had passed since Jisung had slipped into a coma, and Minho's determination to honor his loved ones legacy only grew stronger.
He spent countless hours pouring over Jisung's scattered notes and manuscripts, knowing that they held the key to the story that Jisung had wanted to tell the world.
Minho knew he needed help. He wasn't a writer, and he wanted Jisung's voice to be heard as clearly as if Jisung were speaking himself. That's when Seungmin mentioned his cousin, Jeongin.
"Jeongin's been making waves in journalism lately," Seungmin said one afternoon as they sat in the hospital's waiting area. "He's got a real talent for storytelling, and he's dating Chan, so he's part of our extended circle. Recently, he wrote a magazine for one famous company in Korea."
Minho's eyes lit up with a spark of hope. "Do you think he'd be interested in helping me rewrite Jisung's book?"
Seungmin nodded. "I can ask him. I think he'd be honored to help."
A few days later, Minho found himself sitting in a cozy café, nervously waiting for Jeongin. The café was quiet, the soft hum of conversations blending with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Minho clutched a folder filled with Jisung's notes, feeling a mix of anxiety and anticipation.
Jeongin arrived right on time. He was a young man with bright eyes and an easy smile that instantly put Minho at ease. After brief introductions, they ordered their drinks and settled into their seats.
"Seungmin told me about Jisung and his work," Jeongin began, looking at Minho with genuine interest. "I'd love to hear more about your idea, Minho-ssi."
Minho took a deep breath and started to explain. "Jisung has been working on this book for years. It's a collection of his thoughts, stories, and experiences. But it's not complete. I've been going through his notes, and there's so much potential there. I want to make sure his voice is heard, but I need someone who can bring it all together."
Jeongin listened intently, nodding occasionally. "I understand. It's clear how much this means to you and how important Jisung's work is. I'd be honored to help bring his story to life."
Relief washed over Minho. "Thank you, Jeongin. This means the world to me."
Jeongin smiled warmly. "Let's get started then. I'd like to see Jisung's notes and get a sense of his writing style. We'll work together to make sure his story is told in the way he would have wanted."
As they delved into Jisung's notes, Minho felt a renewed sense of purpose. With Jeongin's help, he was confident that they could do justice to Jisung's legacy. It was the first step in ensuring that Jisung's voice would not be silenced, even in his absence.
"Just call me hyung. I'm a friend of your boyfriend, so it would be funny if we kept formal manners," Minho said, feeling grateful for Jeongin's willingness to help.
