A/N this story is linked with The Daughter Of Hecate and credits go to @0412487y for giving me a plot to continue on.
When I got dressed the next morning I took a look at the bruise that had formed over night.
Apparently my siblings had come back from dinner last night to see me curled into a ball, hugging my blanket tightly, and drooling onto my pillow. They had called it an adorable seen, and I'm 100 percent sure they would've taken a picture if they could.
My ribcage had a purplish bruise on it, Will said if, Ryan, I think his name was, hit me any harder my rib would've broken.
At breckie my stomach still hurt like hell, so instead of my normal breakfast I decided to just have an up and go.
Will, Austin, Kayla, and Nico all stared at me as I slurped down my up and go.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Kayla asked me concern evident in her voice.
"I'm fine" I told my cabin plus Nico.
"My stomach's just still a little sore, I'll be better at lunch."
"Okay..." Kayla responded, unconvinced.
"I told Chiron about what Ryan did and now he has to clean all the dinner dishes by himself." Will told me, taking a bite into his plain toast, (why plain?)
I laughed,
"You didn't have to do that," I told him still chuckling. Will may of been a psychopath for eating plain toast almost every day, but he was a good brother.
"What do you guys have first?" I asked,
"Austin and I have history," Kayla told me.
"Lucky, I have science" needless to say, I hated science just as much as I hated math, okay, maybe a little less.
Before I knew it the conch shell sounded and I was sitting in the Big House with Ryan glaring at me from across the room learning about genetics.
I started to lose focus pretty early in the lesson, but can you really blame me? It was pretty hard to pay attention with someone staring at you the entire time, also, it's science.
The day seemed to drag on and on. Camp Halfblood may of been better than a regular school, but it was still school. Plus they take SHAPE way to sirously. (A/N SHAPE stands for social health and physical education, so it's just PE and health rolled into one.)
Dinner wasn't really interesting either, I just zoned out while Will talked about the injuries he treated today.
The rest of the week was kind of the same, the only exciting thing that happened was when Friday rolled around again, and it was time for capture the flag.
Time skip
It was Austin and Kayla's turn to be in the infirmary so it was me and Will walking to the forest in preparation for tonights activities.
Of course, Will and Nico made me a scout, which meant my job was to lure campers away from our flag when they came near AKA the distraction, AKA the person who gets out first.
I heard people approaching and yelled to my teamates,
"RUN, HIDE THE FLAG!" Then ran in the opposite direction of the flags wearabouts. Naturally, the campers followed me.
I hated running, but I was good at it, the only people that were faster then me were the Hermes kids. Sprinting through the woods, I hid behind a tree hoping the campers would fall into a trap cabin 9 set.
"What the- WHERE IS SHE" an Ares kid yelled.
"It's OK Aron," A Dionysus kid said to him, putting his hands on his shoulders. After a few minutes the Dionysus kid, Paul kissed his cheek.
WHOAH! ROMANCE! I thought, trying not to giggle, unfortunately I can never keep myself from laughing.
" Did you hear that Polux?" Aron asked. Wait- since when was Paul's name Polux? I should really learn people's names.
Polux took a step forward setting of the trap cabin 9 had set, making the floor collapse below him.
"ARE YOU OKAY?" Aron yelled into the hole, making sure not to set off another trap.
"Uh KINDA" Polux yelled back, I knew this was my only time to escape, so I took a breath and sprinted.
"HEY GET BACK HERE!" Aron screamed and ran after me. I froze, not because of Aron, but because everything in me was telling me to stop.
Then came a bloodcurling scream.
Aron and I made eye contact, then both bolted to where the scream came from,
"Who do you think it is?" Aron asked me.
"I don't know, but we need to find them, that person did NOT scream because they were attacked by another camper."
The girl I saw had pitch black hair, like Nico, and was fighting the Minotaur with a knife. This annoyed me a lot. The knife wasn't even celestial bronze it was just a knife! And she was holding it wrong! She was making progress though.
I gave one look to Aron and he knew what to do, he sped towards the Minotaur, slashing it with his sword and turning it into gold dust.
The girl looked at Aron,
"You, you just... that was AWESOME!" The girl sputtered, looking at Aron with admiration.
"It was nothing," Aron said, embarrassed someone complimented him. He may of had Clarisse like features, but he was a lot like Frank Zhang.
The girl looked at me and I gasped, the girl had the prettiest purple eyes I had ever seen (A/N calm your gay, girl), I looked down and gasped again, her legs needed medical attention right away. The girl looked down as well and said,
"Oh" before passing out.
"Aron go get Will!" I said panic creeping into my voice, I ran to the girl's side, I had to stabilise her if we had any chance of saving her.
I heard the fourth conch go off, meaning that a team had brought the flag to the river about 30 minutes ago, and guessed that Will was in the pavilion by now. I started digging through my peach puffer jacket to try and find something that would help, I ended up finding a square of crushed up ambrosia in my left pocket. Kayla says I have Mary Poppins pockets, I probably had a pen, a pencil, a rubber, a snack, some rubbish, some more ambrosia, dirt, and some bobby pins spread over the four pockets of my jacket.
I wasn't really a healing type, and I absolutely loved music but I hadn't really found the right instrument yet, I just needed this girl to live and if I had two week old crushed up ambrosia, then she was going to get two week old crushed up ambrosia. I tried to keep the girl stable until Will and Aron arrived, then I thought about Pollux, I hope he got helped out of his hole. I was getting off track, I ripped off a piece of my shirt and tied it around the girl's leg, hopefully it would stanch the bleeding.
As I attended to the girl's wound by wrapping more of my shirt around her legs, I decided I could help Will by bringing her closer, I picked her up bridesmaid style, she was lighter than I thought. I looked up and saw two purple torches above her head, nice timing Hecate, I thought and waved away the claiming light. I ran closer to camp, why couldn't Will run faster?
"It's okay, I'm here" a voice said, I jumped, we're near the Junipers, so that must mean "JUNIPER!!" I yelled in joy as I layed the girl down and Juniper started to treat her.
"It's not critical anymore, as long as she gets to the infirmary soon she sould be fine." Then she disappeared, leaving me alone.
"DAM it Juniper" I cried. Sighing, I sat down next to her, I had already given her a lot of ambrosia, all I could do was wait.
